Kind of. It's containing vitamin B and C. It's mainly use for relieve hangovers :)
I use it pretty frequently at work (not as a hangover cure) and get a lot of people asking how last night was =/
Good for a "hit" of B-group vitamins.
If you want to be pro-active, you can drop a couple into your beer (watch out for foam) at the start of a big night.
Vodka and berocca ain't bad either ROFL
big +1 for deal poster!! this is great deal.. i go through these weekly, much better then having red bulls and energy drink crap.. i sometimes pay $20+ for these in the chemist.. ill definately be stocking up… cheers!!
I use berocca every day
Great recipe for festivals/big nights/bogan times is:
camelbak + vodka + berocca + powerade
Aldi do a Berocca knock-off that's dirt cheap, I think it's somewhere around $4 or $5, but they've changed their formula and it's awful and chalky now :(
this must be a good price for berocca.
but seriously, why pay so much just for a brand name? for 10 bucks you can get (from a different brand) hundreds of caps, instead of just 30.agree. better to get multivitamins.
Out of curiousity, what are the advantages of this over carbonated energy drinks?
these are only natural and have no sugar (uses artifical sweetner)
I would personally prefer to have rockstar recovery.
energy drinks contain stimulants primarily and stop you from feeling sleepy rather than replenishing anything, berocca replenishes b vitamins so you will feel better pretty quickly and for good reason, stimulants do damage by stopping natural signals to rest … all you do is put off the inevitable crash, over the long term build up stress hormones or in really bad cases, organ damage, I wish it was illegal to call them "energy" drinks , but they do contain sugar so.. technically they have some "energy" content
Ahhh awesome - I need to pick up more Beroccas. Having one before a few drinks really staves off the seedy feeling the next day :D
Just a tip, it's not the Berocca that makes you feel better, it's the extra water.
Try a couple of glasses of water before you go out in place of Berocca + water. You'll feel as cheery!
Yeah, for the amount of Vitamin B you get a multi vitamin and a large glass of water is far better value.
I order mine from the US, quality and price is amazing. I used to get them from American Nutrition, although I have just discovered iHerb which is even cheaper.
Use this code AJE236 for $5 off your first order! (note it's my code).
My favourites are:
Vitamin D - I take one daily, makes a huge effect on my moods. Think about how hard it is for the regular office worker to get the 15 minutes of sunshine a day you need?
Melatonin - gentle and natural sleep aid, good for me as I travel frequently.
5HTP - good for mood. Interesting side effect is super vivid dreams! For Vitamin D, you don't need to be exposed to sunlight every day (although that would be ideal).
15 minutes in the sun three times a week with exposed forearms, hands and face is plenty for people who aren't super white/super tanned/darker skinned. If thats not managable, a bit of time at home on the weekend in the sun with your back exposed will produce a huge amount, close to the level where your body regulates production. Then a few minutes a few times a week would be more than sufficient to maintain healthy levels.
Not only is it good for your mood, but mental health in general. Mostly it improves calcium absorption from your diet, but is also used to regulate cellular processes within your body. Also has links to cancer, autoimmune diseases (Type 1 Diabetes etc), skin conditions, lung function etc etc. Basically, Vitamin D prevents or cures almost anything :)
Berocca is really good for those that get mouth ulcers - my dentist recommended it when I was 14, and have been ulcer free since. Results were not the same with other brands.
This is a good price - hopefully there is stock on shelves.
Isn't this similar to vitamin supplements?
