Is the RRP the normal price???

    • -1

      The normal price is $199

  • +4

    1 Month warranty

    Is that even legal?

    • -2

Yes it's legal. The reason is because Goldring no longer producing them. So they phase out. But they're all in good and brand new condition!

      • For what reason is the warranty only 1 month please?

        • -1

Cause the supplier from Singapore only provide us 1 Month Warranty due to the End of Financial Year SALE!

      • Edit: rep removed the wrong GST charge from site, so my comment is not relevant.

        • I'm sorry for the inconvenience cause. I have fix the platform. There might have some technical issue. So sorry!

I suppose it's correct that a one month warranty is legal. However, all Goods or Services surely come with Consumer Guarantees that cannot be excluded and any rights which you may have under the Australian Consumer Law will not be limited.

        • -2

I do aware about the Australian Consumer Law. That's the reason why the price is being drop from $199 to $39. The manufacturer have stop producing this edition headphones. Hope you could understand!

@hunnybunny1998: "why the price is being drop from $199 to $39"

I'm worried about your connection to reality. You appear to imagine that this price drop, while still claiming the $199 "value", in any way diminishes the time frame that the purchaser can legitimately expect support in the event of any failure of this product.

It does mean that you only need to offer a refund of the reduced amount if replacement of repair are not valid options. Rather than offer a worthless promise you would perhaps be better stating whether you are an Australian or overseas business. If overseas, people can then make their own call, as we do every day, as to whether the price justifies the almost zero chance of support…

You can try offering them "as is". What you cannot do is override laws and legislation.

        • @terrys:

.. better stating whether you are an Australian or overseas business..

His website isn’t showing ABN. Practically, ACL is unenforceable on small overseas retailers.
Even the 1 month “warranty” is doubtful.

Negging because Marketing OP is entirely aware the price '''

RRP: $199 but now is only $39!!!!!!

… in title and description is untrue.

Six exclamation marks will not change the fact that checkout adds GST to the declared price.

    • I'm sorry for the inconvenience cause. I have fix the platform. There might have some technical issue. So sorry!

"There might have some technical issue"
Such as a contact phone number and your ABN, given that " Australia’s premier streaming, DAC, headphone, audio accessories and hi-fi destination." is not the same as " The premier streaming, DAC, headphone, audio accessories and hi-fi destination for Australians", irregardless of the meritsof such a claim, coming as it does from a company whose only search results lead back to this page…

I'd have thought that warranted a correction request rather than an outright negative deal vote. At least they seemed to get their RRP correct.

Note can get them for $49 + postage perhaps more reliably.

  • How much is postage to 5252?

    • You can checkout and check the price before you pay! Standard shipping should be $8

      • Standard shipping should be $8

That information belongs in your description. Your 'edit' button is between 'view' and 'revisions'.

        • Noted!

        • @hunnybunny1998: Don't just note it. Change it! …

It has been sold around $39 forever, even since 2012.

  • It is the cheapest price available but with 1 month warranty from and no ACCC protection, I'm not a fan.

  • Marginally cheaper here:-

    $39 + $8 Standard Postage = $47.00
