It's a great deal. I used this to book a room at the Sofitel Darling Harbour. Cheaptickets discount code don't work for Accor hotels it seems so I booked a room with the $25 off and $1 breakfast deal which came out to around $480. The same equivalent room would've cost $330 with breakfast included. Decided to upgrade to a better room with lounge access and still ended up paying $30 less

Just go to the site directly and put in your request. Should provide the option. I noticed it didn't show for one night, but gave the discounted prices for 2 nights or more.
I don't see any price change when I log in. The initial screen seems to have a discounted price but when you click through just shows the same price as prior to login.
Is this meant to include all their hotels?
In the price underneath it says "VAT not included:" and gives another price…what is that? Is that what we're supposed to pay?

Yes, that would be safe to assume. You also get a free nights stay when you join up but I think it's like $200.

Not all hotels and not all rooms even in participating hotels will have the 30% off rate. You used your card number and can't see a 30% off super sale rate? Then there isn't one at what you're looking at.

I'm looking at NY and can only seem to get 30% off but excluding breakfast. First trip to the US but the rate quotes also doesn't include taxes so it eats into the 30% saving.
Not all days are available. Hotels can set whatever black out dates they want.

if i book a hotel within australia then I assume as per it's terms and conditions I will be charged the local currency so no transaction fee? anyone with experience can answer?

pretty good deal with 30% and breakfast. Even after expedia's 12% off this still comes out cheaper in my case.
