Cleaning car parts. Cleaning tools and even my oil pan after doing oil changes. Even cleaning my hands in a pinch after working on cars.
Can this be used on motorcycle chains as chain cleaner?
Kerosene is one of the best and cheapest ways to clean a motorcycle chain. Give it a google, should save you some cash.
I normally use the 1 litre bottle kerosene I buy from bunnings, I am just wondering if this item can a substitute, since compressed air make the cleaning much easier than my toothbrush and towel.
One of those chain cleaning tools really is worth the money. Get one off ebay for dirt cheap. It can clean 3 sides basically at once and u just wet it with kero and run it along the chain and it comes up amazingly. Especially easy if you have a paddock stand and just spin the wheel as you hold the cleaning tool.
The tool I mean has a handle and then at the end is 3 sides with bristles on each side facing inwards.
Not a bad price if you need it but I refuse to pay more than $1/can since it goes down that cheap so often.
