Check the Philippines VPN deal posted ages ago. I pay ~$5 a month for a family account.

      • Is that still valid tho?

        • I’ve been using it for nearly a year straight.

        • @PainToad: I meant can you still sign up to it

        • @asa79:

          Sure, why not?

        • @PainToad: I heard rumors you need to login to the Philippines site every 14 days or it gets cancelled, is that true?

        • @PainToad: unable to sign up. keep getting paypal error "We’re sorry. We weren’t able to complete your payment or set up pre-approved payments. Please try again later." any tips ?

Paypal account has CC added. verified by transaction code. Also has funds available in local currency.
Spotify has same post code. no option to add address yet. Apparently thats after payment.

Did you create a separate PayPal Philippines account?

Yes. New account with Philippines address.

        • @fifoo: what's easiest way to get Singapore address for this?

        • @fifoo:

          Not sure then sorry.

Edit: I assume you created the PayPal account whilst connected to a VPN?

          Yes.

what's easiest way to get Singapore address for this?

Google any hotel and use address. or goto maps and click anywhere to on land to find address.

Edit: reading on forums, looks like spotify has some issues with linking spotify / stream accounts. Not sure how widespread the issue is.

Awesome, thanks. Got it and immediately cancelled again. Did the same thing the last time I subscribed too, $4/month with breaks seems like a decent deal.

Works with Philippines Spotify accounts too: https://www.spotify.com/ph/comeback/

  • It appears that you're not eligible for this offer. You can still enjoy Premium for the great price below.

  • I was in Japan in December and wanted spotify so googled cheap spotify on ebay and someone sold me a year for $15. They are no longer on ebay but I assume I am apart of a family account. Best spotify decision I have ever made besides creating multiple accounts to get free months and following myself to not lose playlists. Yes, I am fun at parties.

Wow. Finally. Jerks. Gonna resubscribe & promptly cancel & get my money back.

After being a subscriber for 6 years, they kept removing a bunch of features I loved such as the “tap & hold to preview song” feature… that was the last straw, cancelled my subscription and moved to Apple Music student. Gonna use this subscription to migrate all my playlists to Apple Music.

    • Thanks! Didn't know about the Apple Music Student offer.
