  • Any good Xiaomi backpacks that suit 13 to 15 inch laptops? I really need one to help with messenger bags wrecking my back/shoulders.

    • Dang, I didn't think about that, how heavy is your messenger bag?
      This one looks smaller so maybe only fits a 13" laptop plus a book or two (no water bottle) so I didn't think it'd get that heavy. I think that's the idea of a messenger bag, just to carry the essentials.

      I have a xiaomi brand urban backpack (same colour) bigger but more expensive. I put more stuff in it and it's pretty heavy now, both shoulder straps aren't cushiony enough still hurts.

      Not sure what Chinese/cheap bag brands have good shoulder strap/ergonomics.

    The package size says Package Size : 20.0cm x 15.0cm x 8.0cm but I'm assuming that's because they fold up the bag.

    It looks like it can easily fit A4 size books so that can't be the actual size.

    Received today. Bought one messenger one shoulder but received two shoulders.

    Dispute in progress but initially they asked did i make video when opening the parcel. Wtf. I took photos instead.

        Yep lodged a dispute through the joybuy website, note: the option was only available when I logged in via a computer (I.e., the option didn't appear when I logged into the joy buy site via iPad)

        So weird, I bought one messenger bag, but they sent me two shoulder bags.

  • Yep also got wrong bag. I already have a shoulder bag! I needed a messenger bag.

    The order email says to contact them at [email protected] [sic] which doesn't fill me with confidence.

      go to the website log in go to my order history or something like that, then you can start dispute process within.

  • I also received a shoulder bag instead of a messenger bag on the 25th.

    I raised a dispute on the day it arrived (with images rather than a video) and it's been updated with this today:

    "Dear customer, please rest assured that we will help issue the full refund for you. The refund period for PayPal is 3-5 working days. Please be patient and feel free to check your account in the near future. Thank you"

        90FUN were responsible for this screw up as it was their store and not Joybuy themselves. At least JD are acknowledging the problem and doing something about it.

        Not the "sorry dear accept $3US refund for inconvenience".

        • @Worf: You have to go through Joybuy's dispute system. Joybuy is similar to AliExpress and Amazon in that they're made up of multiple different sellers. Except in this case Joybuy manage disputes for the stores instead.

          $9 for an unusable laptop bag is unacceptable. I rejected that offer and will see what they have to say but I suspect I'll have to go through PayPal to resolve it.

          It's disappointing as it is a nice bag and is the cheapest around. I may try buying another…

          If you are after the messenger bag, I was in touch with someone here to get theirs but I've got trouble getting into Syd CBD during working hours. Not sure if they've made separate arrangements though.

  • Anyone still yet to get theirs? My tracking shows as "delivered" on the 30th on 17track but the delivery location is the wrong suburb.

    Same here. Ordered messenger bag and received shoulder bag. I raised a dispute in JD and they offered $5. I replied asking for full refund or send the correct one + postage to return the wrong shoulder bag to them. Will see how they reply.

    The Shoulder bag is cheaper than the messenger bag so maybe they are sending the shoulder bag and hoping everyone just accepts the $5 refund and they will still make a profit after the refund.

        Same happened to me. Disputed via PayPal. They offered a full refund immidiately. I got my money back this morning.

      The shoulder bag is too small to be of any use to me. I paid by credit card and am waiting for the refund. Anyone want to trade a couple of eneloops for the shoulder bag, if so private message me.
