    • You deserved more upvotes than this

    These are great

    • Yeah - run on eneloops

  • I get coupon is not valid?
    Signed in as well

    • Yeah same…

Edit: Working now (think I had to select shipping first?).

  • +1

Only one per user it seems at this price.

    • Yeah Sadly It's only 1 per account.

  • Ok works now! Enter your details & shipping ($0.00) then it's valid

  • No worky

  • +1

Select Australia as delivery address then the code works.

    • +2

Thanks - that worked for me. Nabbed one for my staircase so I don't have to keep using my phone torch!

  • Any positive reviews out there?

    • +2

The product itself is great. One of the best things I've bought for the house.

Great for late night toilet trips without blinding you

I'm looking for a few more for the garage, walk in robes and washrooms now.

      • +3

Great for late night toilet trips

That's what I use mine for but it's extremely annoying as it only stays on for 15 secs.

        You must pee quick.

        • Hm I thought it was 45 seconds for some reason.

I usually shuffle about to set it on again

        • @KLoNe:

Thank you for the urination Wiki, I've printed it out and hung it in my bathroom.

Every time I pee I'll be thinking of you.

        • Perhaps Xiaomi makes one with a larger volume ?

        • yeah, I think it has limited usability, the sensor is not that sensitive either - I have to waive my hands quite a bit to get it going again, and I'm barely a meter from it.

    • +4

Got two last time. Lovely soft light, wide range. Downside is that it's limited to a (unchangeable) 15 second timer "on", but if you move again it lights up again.

    • +1

Bought 2, absolutely recommend. Put one in the hall and the other one in toilet. Brilliant

      • +5

Put one in the hall and the other one in toilet. Brilliant

I don't think they are water proof.

  • Ok after much mucking around, this eventually worked for me:
    - make an account
    - use desktop mode, mobile kept looping the process
    - add to cart
    - chose country, state and postcode
    - apply coupon on the second page, not the first
    - complete payment

    • Where is the 2nd page?

      • View cart
        Fill out country details
        Click proceed to checkout
        Then add the code

        • I just tried it said "Sorry, no quotes are available for this order at this time".

I guess you can only use the voucher once right?

        • +1

@Yaren24: yea only one per account

        • @Herbse:

Yeah mate, I guess next time :)

  • I'm not sure if I got a faulty product last time, the light I get from it is no where near visibility spectrum.
    It produced barely enough light.

    • +1

There are two brightness settings but it's a night light so it's subdued.

      Not sure what you expected?

    • +7

Why use ceiling lights when you can use candles?

    • +5

Why use toilets when you can just piss in the yard like a dog?

    • +1

These are alot less harsher on the eyes late at night.
Also more convenient if you're carrying things or walking from the car to the door on the garage etc.

  • Does this talk to the MiHome App or Xiaomi Gateway?

    • +1

      No~

      • Thanks. I wish they had some that did. I need battery operated ones to be controlled remotely as I don't have GPOs or light sockets all over the apartment for my convenience unfortunately.

        • please wait…………………………………………………………………….

  • These are great. I've got two of them.

  • Cannot for the life of me get the coupon to work.

  • -4

Please remove this post as the code is not working! No bargain!

    • +1

I just checked out successfully. You must set your address before applying the coupon. I had no issues using Chrome on Android on the mobile website

  • +1

The code only appears to work for one unit

  • Is this with battery or with USB charging?

    • 3xAA battery

      • Does it come with batteries included or have to purchase separately?

  • +4

    its cheaper here:
    https://www.joybuy.com/600137700.html

and you don't have to do this crappy code thing…

and you can get more than one per account…

    can anyone vouch for joybuy?

    • Some people have nojoydelivery with them.

    • just tried, and their interface is so bad, i have put the address book correctly, but upon checkout, they make the state to 2460 instead of south australia
and wouldn't let me change it

i don't think it will ever delivered, i think i will stick with zapal

      • +3

I have two orders through joybuy around 20 April and had the same problem but they assured me that they would use the shipping address in my profile. Both orders have just arrived.

        • Thanks I ordered three, fingers crossed

      • Added 2470 to my 2060 post code.

    • +1

I can vouch for joybuy, all of my orders got delivered within 3 weeks

    • Thanks. Bought 5 from there.

  • +2

Found problem with voucher code not being accepted. You have to be logged in and at the checkout page. Then select payment method and click on postage method and finally enter the voucher code.

  • Check out is showing us price not aud.. anyone else having this issue trying to cbarge in us?

    • Isnt it suppose to charge in US Dollars and you use something like a 28 degrees card to checkout?

  • +1

are zapals and zapalstyle the same guys?

    • no.

      one has style
      the other doesn't

  • Bought one, it came to AUD$12.39 using Paypal. The checkout process was a little disjointed as I had to keep re-clicking the free postage option until it finally agreed I could use that option lol.

  • Hi Op, can you please post the Xiaomi notebook deal? thanks!

  • Do you have the option of using it as a movement sensor only and it not being on all the time in a darkend room? Can someone answer this please? thanks

    • It is movement sensor only. Not on all the time

  • The coupon code "ZPSNEW051201" is not valid.

What am I doing wrong? anyone else getting this error?

    • +1

Read process of applying code in comments above

      • +1

Thanks… I just saw it! ugh… would be nice to have it in the original post.

    • +1

You have to fill out the whole checkout form - address etc and then apply the code.

  • +1

Didn't work on Safari imac, worked on Safari iphone

  • It seems that while Zapals shows AUD$ as a currency option, they only deal in US$ meaning a forex loss on the purchase - Paypal indicates the true price at the moment of my purchase is A$12.39:

    From amount $12.39 AUD
    To amount $8.99 USD
    Exchange rate: 1 AUD = 0.725891 USD

    • Joybuy is $11.78 AUD paypal

      • And not very joyous with their deliveries according to comments

  • AU IP only or AU delivery address. I’m in NZ and coupon code only works if i put Australia as country in the delivery address. Although I got an email about this offer. Any way to buy it from NZ at that price?

  • Excellent product. My 3x Energizer batteries in it are still going strong after 6 months

    • Thanks, that may actually be useful for my needs. Just a shame it's cool white.

    • This 240V needs a powerpoint. Still a nice alternative though

  • Forced to use PayPal? I can't find the credit card option on checkout at all.

    • You trust a random website with your card details and lack of buyer safety?

  • +1

Cheers OP, grabbed another one :)

  • I got like 8-9 of these - brilliant little things

  • LOL Freshnel lens :o

  • put one in the cart, ticked the shipping address and shipping option, applied the code. Now it came down to A$11.64, but below this line it also said "Your credit card will be charged for $8.99".

Is this due to the international transaction and eventually I will be paying 11.64+8.99 ?

    • na mate you are safe…itd be 8.99USD which is ~11.64AUD

      • Phew! that is a big relief, thanks mate.
Placed order for 2. (though the code is better for one unit)

  • +1

Bunnings has a sensor night light like this for cheaper. https://www.bunnings.com.au/lytworx-2-cob-led-motion-sensor-…

Not as sexy to look at I guess but you skip the shipping time and buy from an Australian owned business. And you have the benefit of getting a sausage as well.

    • What's the light colour and intensity output on this. The Xiaomi one seems to have a nice warm light so good for staying half asleep at night instead of being woken up by a bright men in black style light beam.

Very tempting though.. $7.99 AUD and batteries included but no delivery.

This works out to be about $13 AUD if around 50 cents a battery but comes with delivery hmm decisions decisions would love to stick a few of these around some dark areas at night especially for a dangerous spiral staircase.

  • Doesn't work anymore.

  • oooh it has a FRESHNAL lens!!

    • oh dear, what did I just read..
oh wait, it does not have the 'A'

  • Does this have an on/off switch? Assume it's not on all the time

    • +1

Turns on when it senses movement + when it's dark, together

  • +1

    thanks OP

  • logged in with new account, code not working again..
