A note to all husbands/partners (from experience)

"Irons do NOT make good gifts"

    • Maybe an ironer would make a good gift. Ie. Hire someone to do housework and ironing for a year (or lesser time, if your budget suits) .

Isn't this just a dupe from

  • I actually need a new good iron, But this shows as 80 bucks in my cart

    • It's not intuitive, but as it says in the description:

    Warning: it's big (and heavy)

I've got mine delivered from the previous deal. I was a little shocked at how large it was. It weighs 1.47kg (including cord). I can't complain about the deal, it was good, but now I have slight buyer's remorse. If you have any concerns about the size, perhaps check it out in a store.

  • i also got mine delivered recently and it is large and heavy, which I personally don't mind. A couple of times it has completely dripped/spilt water everywhere. I haven't figured out what's causing it to happen but reviews online show that I'm not the only one so there's a possible design flaw.

I'm going to give it a try a bit longer before I consider returning it.

    • i've had mine for over a year and not had any dripping issues. The only problem I had was trying to get the steam to the correct level

    • Same issue here. I think we might be using it wrong or something. Could be something to do with the steam setting I guess.

      • I read through many reviews, the dripping seemed to be fixed by some setting, 1 review said "using it correctly" so Im guessing there is something in the manual, something with settings, to stop dripping.

  • Just had mine delivered last week from previous deal. First use it dripped water everywhere. Couldn't figure out what was causing it. Kept the box in case I have to return. It's a good iron if it didn't drip

  • AFAIK you need to keep it to a higher temp and match the steam output to your heat setting.
Most irons it doesnt make a deal but high steam output irons this makes a difference.
If iron is not hot enough, the cool/cold water (which most ppl use from tap-cold now days) there is more chance of dripping.
