Razer just isnt what it used to be, its over price garbage these days.
personally I've tried the razer green switches and they're definitely as good as they have been - if not, better.
I was in JB the other day and saw they sell this keyboard alone for around $320.
Not too bad of a deal when comparing to JB
The keyboard alone on eBay is around the sub $200 mark shipped I think - so JB wouldn't be the best place to buy from in that regards.
Massively overpriced razer garbage.
Rather buy a Logitech G pro keyboard and either a Logitech G pro mouse or a G603 wireless mouse and still cost a few dollars less.
friend bought the Logitech G Pro mid last year from JB. 2nd month in RGB dies, gets a replacement. just last week, left side CTRL switch prong broke and wont contain the key cap.
so same same.
Unlucky guy ive had my G pro for 5 months with no issues.
Can't say the same for a blackwidow i had about two years ago which got double click in like the first month.
and a Razer lancehead TE mouse which also started to double click within the first month.
Or just don't buy overpriced keyboards just because they say "gaming" on them. The Logitech would be a downgrade. You're going from mediocre Cherry MX clones to the horrible RomerG switches.
Fck no romer G feels so much better than the two cherry MX keyboards ive used (browns and MX speeds)
Switches are a personal preference.
I haven't seen any evidence showing low quality from Romer G compared to Cherry, not that you'd expect low quality from Logitech.
Sorry I am so late to reply. Notice I wasn't talking about Cherry MX switches (which are incredibly scratchy) I was talking about clones such as Gateron, Kailh, Zealios, NovelKeys, etc. All of which are far smoother than Cherry and RomerG switches. They claim to be tactile switches but have no tactility whatsoever. They were designed only so spread lighting better and it shows, not in the quality of the light, but in the poor feel.
The orange switches (cherry browns) are also on sale for $239.
good price for the bundle, but had major issues with the mamba mouse, is a nice mouse but wouldn't recommend after the constant issue, kept freezing for months, got it from msy, razer warranty is shit & wouldnt buy there products again because of that, had to be sent out took 6 weeks then got refunded, id go logitech for quality warranty support
Has anyone had experience with PCCG warranty?
The Razer Mamba is a dud and PCCG are just clearing it out for new stock. Keep in mind that the mouse is no better than your average $30 cheap mouse except for the fancy lights. In fact, the sensor makes it worse.
