These are very heavy bags

Not a particularly great deal. 6 degree comfort limit and 1.6kg for $60 is mediocre at best. Don't fall for the the RRP, Kathmandu are renowned for jacking it up then 'deep discounting'

These are just a few from the first site I looked. Snowys have plenty more budget bags like this as I'm sure you'll find all the outdoor shops do.
None of these are suitable for hiking but neither is the Katmandu cheapie in this post. As others have mentioned, Katmandu RRPs are laughable.

Anaconda one is 0c comfort rating, the Kathmandu is 6c comfort rating with 1c transitional rating. No sane person is paying $200 for this sleeping bag, and even at $60 it's not worth it.

Do not buy Kathmandu on impulse, they are a shocker when it comes to overinflated RRP.

Im a noob in sleeping bags, so Denali is the top brand? What other brand the falls in the category of ozbargain. the sweet spot of price to quality ratio LOL
But you have to take in to account the weight if it has 0.5Kg more then is not such a barging.
Why would you worry about half a Kg for these? They're meant for car camping and kids sleep overs.
