I had DC Universe Online on pre-order directly via Sony Online Entertainment for a digital download and came across Direct2Drive which have 20% off ALL MMO's this weekend using "Joker" as the promotional code.
As in the title, came down to USD$39.96, next cheapest I could find was USD$49.99 via other digital downloads OR box orders (not including shipping).
This beats the pants off EBGames' AUD$78 (nearly double) for a boxed copy.
This is for digital download ONLY, not boxed copies (you do not have to use their download manager if you choose not to apparently)
DCUO does not appear to be available to download in advance of the release date (11th January) yet
