PLUGNPLAY

I have been looking for a good InkJet Colour printer with Multi-function capabilities that can print A3 for a while.

The Ink Cartridges are pretty reasonable for my needs as we will be using it for the kids projects and a small business printing.

  • Inkjet printers now of days use toner?

    • It's been like that since 1573 my great great great great great great great grandfather came up with the idea.

    • yes what? I'm confused

    • I wish I had seen that earlier - I guess I should have done some more research.

Pretty racist how Brothers are black.

  • This is pretty funny. How can an INKjet be a laser printer?

    • It's a Bro, bros can do anything.

  • Seems that it's quite a bit cheaper for the MFC-J6530DW, with the main difference being only one paper tray rather than two. Officeworks and others sell it on ebay around $230 to $250. A reasonable idea?

  • I had the previous model of this and I wasn't impressed by the quality of the colour printing. I found the previous Canon I had to be much more appealing.

I have the new model, the printing quality is crap, I can see the passes of the printer heads.

  • Mfc-j6920dw still goin strong

Is there much difference in this model?

Ink costs more for this 6930dw model

  • We bought the printer a few months ago and I must say the printing quality is very average in my opinion. Blacks look fairly grey and aren't any were near as dark as expected and there's a lot of feathering to which I thought wouldn't be an issue with modern inkjet printers.

These are with the original cartridges supplied with the printer and we haven't switched the printer into any econo mode or anything at all. It's good for our home office as we only use the printer occasionally and really love the duplex scanning which would have cost a lot more for the equivalent colour laser printer.

We ended up paying under $200 in the end as Brother had a cashback earlier on in the year as well so for the price it does a reasonable job.
