I have seen these cheaper at my Local Harvey Norman and other shops. Have seen them for $80-90. Unless you count that $40+ for P/H is good then this is not a bargin sorry.

    • have you seen the bugeater brand or the chinese imports at that price? just wondering.

      • The ones I saw where made in Australian but I think different brand

    Hi Twisty,

    Thanks for your inputs

Fetch a Bargain did a call around of Harvey Norman stores in NSW and was told over the phone that none stock any insect killer bug repellent products

So we contacted various Bunnings stores by phone and they do stock other branded bug repellent products but not the exact one we are advertising.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes

    • better to edit your posting and put details of "discount" there than down in the discussion area. Look for the edit button

      • Thanks Ozpete

To clarify, are you suggesting we put the other store website links in our initial posting?

eg. under our "No zapping, pesticide, insecticide or poisons - Environmentally friendly" sentence as an example?

    • $140+shipping (which I couldn't determine) was the cheapest I could google, otherwise many others sell at $149+ship.
$139 delivered is good, but not 'bargain'.

      • Hi Battler

Your inputs have been noted and thanks for commenting our price is good

Yours only has a 12 month warranty, this one has a 24 month, as does this one

Looks like you save ~$20 and you lose 12 months warranty.

Its not a bargain or else every product in every shop is a bargain, lol.

If you want to post a bargain make sure its substantialy cheaper not just by $5.

  • This one doesn't seem to produce CO2 which is needed to attract the mozzies and you can get much cheaper ones that don't need the soapy water. I bought mine from China but they now have a local distributer - the manufacturer's website is www.skonetech.net and the products work. These ones produce CO2 and are much cheaper (they actually cost the importer about $30 each.

If it produces CO2, then its not environmentally friendly, which is one of the good features of this bugeater (not producing CO2). If youre gona buy more environmentally unfriendly products, you better stop driving or breathe less!!! (I kid)

      • If it doesn't produce CO2 it is not going to attract many mozzies esp female ones (the ones that bite) and it will attract many other friendly insects. The amount of CO2 it produces is negligible - the CO2 produced by the electricity it uses is much more than the CO2 produced by the UV light on the titanium surface.
