Sure does! However, this is for the latest model - supposedly more comfortable (https://www.digitaltrends.com/virtual-reality/google-daydrea…)
Bewarned if you are (even a bit) short-sighted: unlike virtually (ha) every other headset on the market, the Daydream View has no focus ring.
So if your vision doesn't match up with the preset focus distance (presumably designed for someone with 20/20 vision) then the image will be blurred and you will be straining to see a clear image.
I've been buying these mobile VR headsets even since an imported Gear VR pioneer's edition, but when I moved from buying Samsung phones to the Google Pixel, I also bought the Daydream.
I no longer like Samsung phones very much, but there is no doubt their Gear VR system is better.
Might be worth making a trip to a local JB Hi-fi Store or similar to try on the headset before buying (If they even still have these on display???).
Looks like fiddling with the headset position on your forehead is the only way to improve focus if your vision doesn't match the preset focus distance (http://www.alphr.com/google/1004728/daydream-view-review-goo…).
It's disappointing that there's no focus-adjustment dial. Thanks for the warning Crocfreefree.
I'm hoping the Oculus Go will be a better unit.
Although the HTC Vive focus also looks good.
Ithought on these Google view, you can wear glasses?
Yes, you can wear glasses with the Google Daydream View (https://www.smh.com.au/technology/google-daydream-2017-revie…)
However, it is disappointing that there is no focus-adjustment dial. I imagine having a focus-adjustment dial would be handy when the VR headset wasn't sitting on your face in the "sweet spot". Head shapes do vary
Thanks, been waiting for the new version to come up on sale!
No stock
Watch this space. Telstra usually re-stock. As a rough guess they update stock around 11am-1pm weekdays (based on comments as per a previous Telstra Deal for the Samsung Gear S2 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/314443/comments).
I'll keep checking ;)
They are back in stock, at least on mobile.
Not once you go through to checkout
Not once you go through to checkout
I did. Keep trying as they must be adding more stock.
I added two in my cart just then and it said out of stock on the cart page, went back to one and it was ok, checked to two and it was out of stock so changed back to one and it was out of stock.
This needs a phone to work doesn’t it?
Yes, this VR Headset requires a compatible phone. For a list of compatible phones please refer to https://vr.google.com/intl/en_au/daydream/smartphonevr/phone…

Google paper is cheaper and does the same thing?
Trolling?
Google Daydream View has sensors (Accelerator, gyrometer, & proximity) & has a wireless remote control. Google Cardboard doesn't.
@TristanJ:
ohh i understand, i thought it was the same.
@TristanJ: The headset DOES NOT have sensors(or battery to power the sensors). It's the wireless remote control that has the sensors ;)
@GregFiona: my bad ;)
@TristanJ: As I understand it it doesn't have those but the phone's sensors must meet a standard to be sold as Daydream compatible devices.
Cash rewards doesn’t work?
I could be wrong! But I believe cashreward offers for Telstra are only available "When you take up a new mobile on a Go Mobile Plus Plan with a handset repayment from Telstra" (https://www.cashrewards.com.au/telstra).
Purchasing accessories from Telstra doesn't fit this cashreward offer and so no cashback.
Check in stores, some may still have stock. I just bought one in stores
Sigh, there hasn't been any online stock for the last several days and I just tried to call 10 different Telstra shops near my house and none of them sell the product… :(
I just price matched this at JB HiFi and it worked, maybe give that a shot
this is available again if anyone's looking
These are back in stock & the ACCESS10 code works too
Btw folks this is back in stock
Sells out alot faster when they are $25
