One for me, another one for me.

    What's a Breakfast Burrito worth?

    WA: Perth Airport

    woo.

  • -4

This place, $12 burrito wouldn't feed a pigeon

    • +12

lol wat. i'm full as a goog after a GYG burrito.

      • with sides and beer?

    • +4

They are filling enough, but grossly overpriced for what they are.

      • Take away the beans rice and salt and you get once mouthful of good stuff

        • +1

Out of all the Mexican chains GYG do the best salads. Plenty of meat without the empty carbs weighing you down.

        • +3

@His_Holiness: "Plenty of meat without the empty carbs weighing you down." Holy carb! I see the definition of salad has changed a lot.

      • No doubt, $12 with no sides or drink using cheap as chips ingredients like chicken and rice…but I still find myself eating at GYG at least once a month.

Is this all day? don't see breakfast timings anywhere on their site

    • +1

      Only until 11am :)

  • Thanks Op

    No ACT =(

    • +2

Seriously? Any time they do a promotion the queues go around the corner. Dumb of them to exclude the ACT.

  • Two for me, what are you having?

  • what about bondi junction westfield?

    • Doesnt look like its on the list. They probably dont do brekkie.

      • Thats interesting because there are two franchises there

  • +1

Damn, I start work too early to cash in on this bargain. Why couldn't they just run it on a weekend?

    • Use Airtasker 😂

      • Haha my partner was home today so I got her to do the burrito run for us. Now I just need to figure out the best way to re-heat it tomorrow morning before work.

  • Anyone know how big these are? e.g same size as normal burrito?

    • They definitely feel a bit smaller, however I don't know whether the tortilla they use is smaller or there's just no rice 'stuffing it'. I think for $6.50 (what I swear they used to cost), it's one of the best value breakfast items. Beats Maccas Mighty Mcmuffin IMO any day. Even better 2 for 1

      • I think the price might vary from store to store, because my partner looked online the other day and told me they were $7.50 so I went to Guzman's and their menu said $6.50.

    • These are bigger than the mini burritos, but smaller than the regular. They use the smaller tortilla but it has more filling.

The picture looks like two 100% occluded coronary artery sections.

  • Perfect timing for my 11am Tutorial at Uni next week, cheers OP!

  • Was 6.50 last time I had one.

7.50 is a little pricy methinks

  • my daughter is an obnoxious vegan.

  • RRP $6.50 at Brisbane CBD (WinterGarden).
So 2 for $6.50 is pretty good price.
Tried Chorizo and it is decent

  • Also scored a free coffee at GYG world square. Not sure if it is today only though!

  • Mine were small and only contained two measly bits of chorizo, the whole thing was bland without the chorizo however the chipotle sauce helped. I should have gotten the veg one, they probably would have been more generous on the portions.

    • +1

Yeah these things are tiny and fairly bland. Needed to add extra sauce, coriander and onion. Wouldn't pay $6.50 for one, maybe $5 though.

  • They are quite filling. With buy 1 get 1 free it's a pretty good deal. Otherwise it's a bit expensive on it's own.

    • Agree with tlai, had this this morning, preferred the veggies over chorizo one (veg was more spicy, too!) and wouldn’t pay full price for it.
