I looked up the prices for Peggle and Plants vs Zombies and they're cheaper on Steam.

  PopCap are offering Plants Vs. Zombies for $US9.99 on their site while Steam are currently offering it at $US6.99 as part of their 30% off all PopCap games deal (http://store.steampowered.com/publisher/PopCap%20Games,%20In…. ).
  
  They have been offering much steeper discounts on different items daily (http://store.steampowered.com/) and will continue until Jan 2, so the game you want may come up cheaper before Jan 2, but if it doesn't you can still get it cheaper than off the PopCap site.
