I think OZB should ban any deal that carry the word "Chinese", for today only.

Just in case, we don't want to offend those peoples.

I better put my /S tag here.

    /S

    • If mods feels this is right, feel free to do it and reactivate it back tomorrow thanks

    • what do you mean by "those peoples"

  • This morning when i opened ozbargain website, i saw there are a lot of chinese words on this site. Anyone saw that? I thought ozbargain site was sold to chinese? Anything to do with Confucius institute??

    • It was just an April’s fool prank. Every year, Ozbargain does a prank on the day!

  • Where's the pun if it was intended?

Great idea for UNSW. Any chance of a similar event for people working near Chinatown? I know a little about Chinese food, but am keen to learn more about Chinese food culture, history etc if there was an opportunity.

Perhaps also spaghetti, ice cream/gelato, tea and rice all originates from the chinese

      • What about beetroot on a burger, did the Chinese invent that too?

        • Nah thats Aussie, but burgers has American roots though, and in turn sandwiches are of English origins

  • Bring along a bucket of MSG

  • I always knew they gave snacks and drinks but I didn't know they give free lunch too.

    • Week 6 is a food related event, so they might up the anti on the snacks and drinks, fingers crossed
