Would buy if there was more than 2 Ethernet ports per satellite.

That's one for the Internet and one for your PC. I hope they address this in a v2. One extra would go a long way, but two extra would be best.

    • Yeah i agree, no point buying as of right now.

      • What is your use case that requires wired Ethernet for multiple devices instead of just wifi?

        • Stability.

Wifi is good for mobile devices. For a console or PC, wired is much more reliable and stable.

I also need to plug a phone into it.

        • @lostn: you hardwire your phone?

I just run a small switch out of mine

I'd do your homework before rushing out to buy these, there are better mesh networks out there.

Any thoughts on the ubiquiti unifi?

      • these all the way. i almost pulled the trigger on the google kit but ended up going with just 2 of the unifi ac lite points. mounted them on either side of our house and we have flawless wifi.

even the wife has noticed how much better it's been. highly recommended!

edit: sidenote - they do need to be cabled in though so not really a traditional "mesh" network

      • They are great.

      Better mesh network for $340?

    • I'm pretty happy with my google mesh

    • What do you recommend?

      • I bought the Orbi RBK50 last week, and it has been excellent (difficult two-level apartment which was not well-served by the ASUS RT-AC68U), but they're not the only good ones.

Then please share your bargains on those!

I know this is Ozbargain, but being cheap doesn't make them good.

        • We often have posts for expensive products at good prices :) Cheap doesn't mean "cheap and nasty"

@Matt P: No, that wasn't my point at all.

So how do I get it for this price? I see $399

My mistake… Needs to be added to the cart

    Best price i've seen

It's actually been cheaper from the same retailer

I could have sworn it was under $300 from Amazon US also.

  • Would OfficeWorks price match this and beat it?

  • So I thought I'd wait one day… Guess what.. EXPIRED!!!!
