Do you know how I can check, used vivid website and it just says congrats you have access, I also checked Optus site and it won't let me check without the actual device or using the imei of one (which I can't grab since I haven't bught it yet). Used inspect element to get rid of all that, and it just shows purple for the whole of sydney, but won't tell me which bands?

Then guess if you can receive the frequency where you plan on installing the modem. High frequencies don't penetrate walls as well as low frequencies (eg 700Mhz, 850Mhz)

I've been using this for more than a year now. Switching from Belong to Vividwireless.
Vividwireless speed isn't that great for me, but it's stable.
Unlike Belong, where within 1 year of subscription with them, only 7 months I have internet connection while another 5 months of no internet due to their issue.

Great deal. Been using Vivid for almost 2 years. Been awesome for us. ADSL here is a woeful 1.5 Mbps but been getting close to there max speed with Vivid even at peak times. The phone tower is is within 100 metres of my home, so I’d say that also helps.
Picked it up and it’s working very well. Very easy setup. Great interim solution until he nbn freeze is over.
I'm currently with Vividwireless and have been for more then a year. They are a great alternative to ADSL.
Looks like the deal is over. Back up to $199 at HN.
Thanks for the post OP, this is a pretty good deal.
For you folk out there that expect LTE speeds similar to your mobile phones/devices, be aware that Vivid cap the speed at 10Mbps (about 1.25 megabytes per second). Thereis nothing wrong with this in my opinion as for unlimited mobile data at $90 p/m it is a steal.
Check your coverage closely too, it may be that you can get Vivid but only at 5Mbps.
