Samsung Bluray Home theatre system HT-C5500
RRP is $599 (Myer discounted $252.50 to $346.50).
Cheapest on shopbot / getprice was around $445 so this looks to be a good discount.

This just replaced my old LG DVD system. This looks like a nice entry level 5.1 Blu-ray. Has a network interface with optional wireless connection, Internet@TV, Apple Ipod dock etc

Note: The HT-C5500 is NOT 3D ready (I don't have/want 3D anyways!).
The 3D version (Model HTC5900) is $464.50 in Myers catalog sale and maybe the replacement model. Can't see any other differences other than 3D compatible. You will need to check your local store to see if they have any other stock.

      I hope not :( ? They had the bargain Panasonic deal back in October or therabouts. This is Samsung & it's Blu-ray

      Thats the DVD version HT-C550, this is BluRay. I actually have not seen any links to a cheaper BluRay HT than this recently, other than the Panasonic back in October.
