HoN and LoL got nothing on Dota. Both these new games feel slow to me, and I don't like the way either of them are structured.. I honestly wish they both never came out!
The developers (S2 Games) are avid Dota players. Sure it's not 1:1 for the gameplay/mechanics etc but it's damn close. But it's well worth $10 USD if you're a regular dota player. It's time to move on. It will take some getting use to because of the new flashy graphics but it is awesome if you can get passed that stage.
agreed, HoN is too much for me. haven't tried LoL yet but doesn't look too great either. dota is like original and the best. but good price
I was like that at the start too, you guys are just too used to DotA once you play HoN enough you wont go back. All the frustrations that DotA has for eg. leavers are eliminated. If you guys like DotA I highly recommend you give it a good go until DotA 2 is released.
i play DOTA and HoN regularly.
DOTA is just balanced.
HoN is just newschool.

aww man, i payed $30. This is definitely worth it. I used to play DOTA and HON craps all over it. think of dota but with multiple improvement, especially since hon 2.0 matchmaking is sweet and all the annoyances of dota are fixed in HON. get ittttt
