WTF $599 vs $87?! What's so special about the square head? They both have 9L/minute average flow rate?????
I rather have 6 of the $87 one and have them installed on all 4 sides and 2 corners of my shower…

        You called??

        • $599 won, time to pay up.

You can send the money to my payid. It's the same as my username

    • Costco have one for about $90 which is a mix one. It has a rain style head up top and a power shower style below it. You use a lever to switch between the two nodes (or use both at the same time). It's not detachable though. Each head is fixed.

    • Do a search on ebay. I bought one from ebay for about $120 and fairly happy with it.

This is even worse, $1,049?! And it's slower too! 8.5L/min flowrate!
I can get 12 of the $87 one and install them on all 4 sides, 4 corners, and idk what to do with the other 4…

    • Wow is this the closest thing to a sonic shower?

    • Is it a phone booth?

    @brokenglish

How does it compare to one of these for $2?

It is fully adjustable and has a variable flow.

I can get 43 for less money.

I got this one recently, removed the flow regulator and am very happy with it.

    • How do you remove the flow regulator?

      • -1

        You're joking?

      • You pull it out with a set of long nose pliers

how are the LED powered? hydro powered?

      • +2

I got triggered by the font on their website

      • wow it is hydro powered…"The LED light ring is powered by flow of water."

        • So if you're lucky enough to be getting it on in the shower and you turn off the water you're stuck on the dark? :P

        • @dufflover: I was more thinking along the lines of having guilt free long showers knowing your helping generate clean energy

I prefer the Commando 450. Only sold out of the back of shady vans though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMITcQUe-9M

  • If only it came with a longer rail.
Need to replace current one but screw holes for rail are 570 apart as opposed to 500 for the Dorf

    • Same mine is 600mm. Where do you find those details

      • +1

There's an install guide a few posts up. Also on one of the pics on Harvey Norman page for it

  • I think it's worth noting how much of a mess you could make if you attempt installation without a wall scanner (e.g. Bosch GMS120). Of course the pipes go from the tap/mixer to the outlet, but it isn't usually in a straight line if the taps are offset. With a scanner you can work out the exact path of the copper pipes under the tiles. Anyway, it's straightforward otherwise (you simply need a tile and a masonry bit).
