4GB. Don't bother about this. Might as well buy note8

These are rebadged Note 7. Wikipedia has more details https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_Note_7#Note_FE_(%22Fan_Edition%22)

Yes, the ones that caught fire, you weren't allowed to take on planes and were part of a global recall.

Supposedly they've re-engineered the problem but caveat emptor.

      • I don't understand why the neg for my comment. This is a a chipset that is 2 year old, with old camera modules before s8. If you can afford to pay $660 for an imported handset, why not consider note8 or s8?

I considered the note FE Last year before buying my note 8, when note8 was still very expensive. But will never consider it now.

I didn't neg you however my guess is how much price difference between this note fe versus a note 8.

  • If you're not gonna use the S-Pen, you're better off getting the Galaxy S7 which could sometimes be found for cheaper as AU stock.

Was a great phone (N7). Does look strange now with the front bezel after moving to an N8. But the front fingerprint sensor is still better IMHO…

I think bezels, within reason, are just somehting you get used to for better or worse.
I used an s8 for a few weeks before going back to my note 3 and while it was jarring at first I was fine with it after a couple days and I realised the same was true the other way around, the S8 looked beautiful for a few days but then I got used to it.
I guess I'm just really fickle.
