I'd toss or the metal scrub brush though. the metal bristles can come off and be ingested and get stuck in the throat needing serious medical attention.
Did this happen to you from this product?
Even if the bristle did come off, wouldn't you be able to remove it from the bbq before putting meat on it?
Can't tell if this is a serious question? If so, no, not always as the bristle can easily be hidden on a dirty bbq.

And not being sarcastic, but if your bbq is dirty enough that it would hire a bristle I'd assume it might need more than a scrub?

I always use the bristle first and then use a barbeque wipe to wipe everything down.
Regift scrub brush to someone you dont like ;)

I got one of these set 10 years ago, and they are worth every cent. have used it on a regular basis, and still do, except the BBQ brush, little metal scraper part on the end fell off, and that is all that is wrong so far. Awesome stuff.

Called two stores, As per them most of the store are sold out in Sydney. Try calling stores before visiting.
just called Blacktown branch. the guy said pretty much all stock in Sydney stores were sold today. more stocks coming in in 6 weeks time but I highly doubt it will be sold at the same dope price.
I spoke to staff in store in Melbourne - they said that online orders in Victoria had been insane and they would struggle to find stock. They will likely receive advice to substitute a similar item that they want cleared, so look out for that in a few weeks time.
Ive had this set for some time. Havent had the problems with the brush that others above have had.
I find the tongs really stiff though, so ive upgraded them.
