probably really good for fouling drains and waterways, maybe get out into the ocean and choke some marine life as well :)
Thats what clean up Australia day is for :)
every day should be clean up day..
You could also take out with you to reuse and not litter
Its a tarp, its blue, its a dollar, it covers stuff
We'll need to cover punctuation with you, too.
:)
It's only 1.2m x 1.8m, what can it cover?
Hmm… a dead body…Not suitable for dead people over 5'10"
Nah mate, the feet dangle out
Worked fine for me. You just have to roll them on the diagonal
Username checks out haha
Removed old carpet from carpet stores is perfect. It soaks up the water and sinks well. Wrap a couple of bricks in there for good measure. Plus it's free ;)
As a keen bargain-addict, I was wanting to buy 1 even though I had no use for it, but its such a great bargain :)
I decided I could use it as BBQ cover. Also probably could use it to cover a cupboard thats outside being used for tool storage and such (because my new housing has no garage) .
I guess its a buy first>>>work out what you'll use it for later, mentality. LOL.
Anyone else here find themselves doinf this ?always
I used to hoard old junk rather than dump it, just in case one day I found a use for it.
Since I found ozbargain, I now buy new junk, just in case one day I find a use for it.
Really need a large tarp, who's got em for cheap? Would it be a 2 dollar shop item or camping stores? Seems to me there's a few eBay deals that I may wait for discount. I could buy 10 and tie them together but I'm lazy
I got a very heavy-duty 6x8m monster tarp with crazy strong edges, eyelets & stitching off Gumtree for $20 with only light, meaningless wear in a couple of small areas. I needed something to cover a big rack of 6m timber lengths from the elements and it's doing the job perfectly. Original cost of the tarp was apparently over $300! Depending what you need it for I'd highly recommend having a look on Gummie instead of buying new.
listen the ikea bags are a lot more useful for a dollar compared to this.

I bought 4 and then thought about it …
The size make them pretty useless …
I plan to use them for painting instead of drop sheets
I used actual sheets. Cost a bit more but nicer than a tarp or drop sheets which can break easily
I put a tarp in my car boot so when I put my camping chair / beach tent in the boot it keeps the dirt/sand off the car boot carpet. Makes a good liner.
Can I cover a car with this?
i don't think so…. but it can cover my son's toy car for sure…. :)
Yes you can cover a car. Cars come in many sizes though
Great for Dodgem Cars
Cover dodgem cars, then drive em round with it over, could make for some good fun :)
This probably wont even cover a smart car, let alone a twizy
What about a Goggomobil? G-O-G-G-O…
The Dart?
@strangeloops66:
No, No, not the Dart. …they always think it’s the Dart.G-O-G-G-O
O-G-O-O-G
What I find amusing is that Tommy Dysart became well-known enough thanks to that Yellow Pages ad to do an ad for Shannon's (car insurance) where he is insuring his Goggomobil Dart with them : "It's the Dart!" he says. Is good!
thanks mate… just bought 5….
This post might have been good social media content if OP's gravatar was Admiral Ackbar.
I can finally get a home and contents insurance with this tarp.. thanks OP.
gots me six… for no damn reason at all… MURIKA!!
Bough one for painting and another to cover the Webber. Thanks OP.
Tarpe Diem!
Why isnt it $1 for my stores near liverpool nsw?
Poort Adelaide could’ve purchased 10000 of these (with State Govt funds, no doubt) had they not stupidly contested Gray’s one week ban at the MRP. #nevertearuptheirtarps #lol #119
says $3.98 on link
Showing $5.49 now :/
It would make a decent table cloth at the park for a bbq, and for this price you can just leave it there.
