Neither was MSY's and they've done ok.
Well indeed … Fluidtek, also deserves an honorable mention in the "ugly but cheap" category.
Hell yeah, the Fluidtek site is a bloody dog's breakfast!!! ;)
"Battery Capacity:1250mAh"
This is surely a typo, as any old alkaline has at least 2000mAh
Well spotted Cluster. According to this, it should be 2000mAh (I think) http://data.energizer.com/PDFs/l91.pdf
Looks like approx 3100mAh according to the graph.
My bad. I was looking at the Max Discharge figure.
They pasted information of AAA cell wrongly, as you can see this in the description :
Battery Size:AAA
Although the packaging is different, I believe these usually retail for about $20, not the $29 claimed by this site.
Yep good deal but the $29 is nonsense - they are on special at $12 in Darwin at the moment down from about $17 regularly.
How many batteries?.
It says 4 pack and on description, "Pack Quantity:10"
Website now has "Pack Quantity:4"
Maybe it was a typo which has been corrected?Yes..Got more corrections to do :-)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_battery_sizes - it all AAA specs like length/capacity etc
Is 1dealaday.com.au a reincarnation of the 1saleaday.com.au that got shutdown but to name infringement?
I don't think so, IIRC these guys have been around for a little while now in the same incarnation! I'm looking forward to 1saleaday.com.au reinventing themselves somehow, coz I used to get some great deals out of them! ;)
buy rechargable batteries from dealextreme.
these non-rechargable batteries should be illegal.
They probably will be one day.
Now you can get LSD NiMH (low self-discharge), there is not much need for these.
Lithium Iron Disulphide is mostly useful for long-term emergency spares. They hold the charge for many years, and have a bit more capacity than NiMH.I don't know about "illegal". Lithium batteries have a very long shelf life. Often 10 years or more. NiMH cells would be completely discharged by then. Lithium batteries are also much lighter and have the greatest capacity of all batteries. All current rechargeable AA/AAA cells deliver 1.2v while non rechargeables give 1.5v. This can make a difference in some devices, such as motor driven toys, flashlights, and some electronic devices.
I've tested my good rechargable batteries versus these ultimate lithium and the results were tremendous. The ultumate Lithium lasted 16 to 20 times longer, literally.
As far as I am concerned, rechargeable has no use at all. It has only ever caused problems and is epic fail on all accounts.
I also doubt I ever saved money using rechargeable, which were quite expensive to buy.
I have thrown away my rechargable batteries unless I have to have it, such as mobile phone batteries.
Good rechargable batteries are at least 5 to 10 years away. No one seems to be bothered making it.
Nonsense!!! Your 'good rechargable batteries' and tests were the only epic fail! :p
Get yourself some good quality NiMH low self-discharge cells like Eneloops or Duracell ActiveCharge and try those, you might change your tune!
Sure, Lithium cells have their uses, but modern rechargables are far from useless!!
I have bought a pack of these of these guys, received my order and they are great so far, although this is still showing in stock on their website they also have the AAA Energizer Lithium at the same price at http://www.1dealaday.com.au/shop/item.aspx?itemid=2408
Geeze, not a pretty site….but a good price, ~half what you would pay instore.
