    Why controversial?

    • +4

Made the news last time, as there were literally fights in store for them 🙄

      Here is a link. https://au.news.yahoo.com/vic/a/36936659/melbourne-aldi-braw…

The one at Bunnings is cheaper.

        • +1

Though the Bunnings one has a steel frame, so may rust. I expect the PE rattan may die before the frame, though.

And they will actually have stock

        • +1

extra $20 with two same style/colour/pattern cushions.
i will go with Aldi's but matter is stock availability..but if one does not matter with cushion this will be better deal.

Go there for the couch and leave with a loaf of bread?

  • The two customers were paid to stage a fight for more publicity :)

  • Don't think you'd want this in the elements for too long.

So, ALDI wicker.. Yeah. Not the best.
Just yesterday I spent the day cutting the wicker form an outdoor table I bought there literally 13 months ago. Most of the wicker on the tabletop had deteriorated and snapped, making it look like someone had taken a knife to it.

Basically outdoor furniture not built for the outdoors.

Warranty was 12 months so keep an eye on it,
