Just received an email from supercheap auto advising about 25% off meguiar's detailing products.
These are well regarded on ozbargain so I thought I'll post it.

Nothing wrong with a bit of cheap(er) Meguiar's…
Any suggestions what to buy for a new car that is park under the sun everyday? Cheers
I got a new car recently, i did not accept any offer on paint protection from the dealers. So I did the whole waxing thing by myself..
I will share my steps, but won’t guarantee best works for you :)
Wash - Bowden’s own - Nanolicious
Polish - Autoglym - super resin polish
Wax - autoglym - ultra HD wax
I would highly recommend autoglym super resin polish. It has a good water beating. And deep gloss finish.
I have tried several meguairs product. But somehow I don’t see much result on it.
Just sharing my own opinion :)
Cheers mate for the information. I'll look into it.
Do you even need a polish for a new car paint? isn't a carwash, something like iron x and a good wax do?
@nalgene22: Doesn't the polish remove a layer of paint? I'd only be using it on a car with swirls and light scratches.
@subywagon:
agreed, Thats why i asked, do we even need polish on a new car
Bowdens own nanolicious for me too, but thats it.
I got Opticoat ceramic coating on my car, which means no polishing. Comes up great, but the upfront cost is quite high, depends on the size of your car.
if you care about the car seriously look into ceramic paint protection, especially if the car has dark paint
and as others have mentioned do not get it done at the dealership. the car really should be paint corrected before paint protected.
so go to a reputable and certified detailer of your product of choice.
Yeah, one of these.
