Nice new listing from Dell just in time for the 20% off.
Note they got the title wrong, it says i8.
Code will be active from 10AM.

Cheers mate - important difference for some.
Wow, I didn't realise this before…
Can these keys be configured? Say the insert becomes a home, printscr becomes end, etc
9370 also has microsd instead of SD slot
For those not interested in the specs that this model has to offer, here's the i5 version for $1,439.2 (only six left at time of posting this comment, which is probably why OP posted the i7 model instead).
Awesome, thanks mate.
For the record I didn't see the i5 one. It has been posted here almost each time there is 20% deal.
Is this 2017 model much different to the 2018 one?
Yes, by one incremental digit.
Have a look at this comment:https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/5658712/redir
Key differences outlined in my post in this thread, as well as others who have added their comments:
Those looking to understand the key differences between this late 2017 model (9360) posted here and the newly released 2018 model (9370) I understand them to be as follows:
Others have also noted that:
- The motherboard on the 9370 has been redesigned and there are many other new components compared to the 9360.This has been to address the coil whine issue on the 9360
- 9370 does have dedicated pg up / pg dn / home / end keys. 9360 doesn't have dedicated pg up / pg dn / home / end keys.
- 9370 also has microsd instead of SD slot
FHD version of 9360 / 70 weigh the same
For me, footprint difference is negated by the need to always have a dongle on your desk for USB A devices..
I went for a 9360 before they phase them out, will be onto a new machine well before all my devices are USB C
@jeefbeef
Thank you for your detailed answer that's awesome.
I'd be leaning towards the 9360 based in usb A & longer battery life TBH.
But it would have to be at the cost of coil whine and slightly larger form factor.
Looks like the 9360 is about 0.3 pounds heavier
Hmm…not sure lol portability with the be number 1 thing taking it to work in a satchel every day
Ive been using the 8gb version for 4 years now, works as described and extremely durable.
Caved and bought one. Thought not convinced its good value compared to some other prospects but seems like it gets great reviews. The zenbook lost out due to reports of some pretty heavy handed throttling in the end
Cool. The Dell does not have dedicated GPU though.
Isn't that what you need for photo editing? Some reviews say that lightroom does not depend on GPU. Is that correct?
Is there a laptop like this but with a dedicated gpu and quad core? I need the touch with pen
There is a Dell XPS15 2-in-1 in the works, to be released this year.
Rumour is that it will have Kabylake-G with radeon graphics.
Probably cost 3k though, maybe more?
Judging by the cost of XPS15, will be minimum 2.5K i'd think.
Look for yoga 720 15 inch. It has GTX 1050.
Surface Book 2
How does windoez scale on high DPI these days?
I had the XPS 12 @ 1080p a few years ago with Windows 8, and I had to set the scaling up to like 150% to read it, breaking the layout of many websites.
And this one is 1440p, so I'm guessing win10 is better at this.
