  FYI I took my iPhone 6 in to have the battery replaced (for $39), which certainly improves the performance and life of the device.

  During the check they noted a battery swelling issue, so gave me a new phone swap for the $39.

  So if you have an iPhone newer than the 6 and think your battery could do with a swap, could be worth the 30 minute time investment.
