  • Before anyone asks….

    • How long until you need to replace the filter? Xiaomi recommend every 6 months and the app will tell you when they think it should be replaced.
    • Is Fasttech reliable? Yes. The founders of Dealextreme created Fasttech after they sold up in 2012.

It all looks cheap because they're like Zapals. They're charging for shipping on most products

      It's definitely in USD

The link shows me the filter as $18.25
    THe Actual purifier at $101

The FAQ says USD, but the prices doesnt match up

Your inability to read is not a good reason for a neg. Both the heading and the description say it's a filter (and there's a picture of a filter).

If I don’t have the purifier can I just hold this above my head and run around the house really fast?

    • you need to become flash

    • no. you have to have the purifier before you get to hold this above your head and run around the house really fast.

  • Over $24 for shipping !! And then the coupon off is only $2.
    Not a deal.

Your numbers are wrong. $15.36 US is 19.39 AU on today's rate and this is the cheapest price the air purifier filter is as everywhere else charge more as well as shipping due to the large size and weight. Did I mention that it also has express shipping?

If you can find it cheaper please share, otherwise this is a deal.

      • I went to checkout and the cheapest shipping option was just over $AU24

Incorrect. If you don't put in an Australian address you will see Regular Air Mail +$24.56 US (up to 30 business days in transit). But if you put in an Australian address and choose Australia Express ePacket as mentioned in the OP you will get $15.36 US.

If only it worked as advertised, this would be a good product.

Not negging this deal, but the filter is pretty useless if the associated product doesn't work:

    • Looks like everyone is waiting for the follow up test(s) in a few months with the Xiaomi sensor controlling it.

    • I wish people would stop posting that as it's wrong. Xiaomi released an update a very very very long time ago that allows you to set a favourite mode so it can be at any speed you want. Before it would go back on auto after 4 hours.

      • I'm curious though that an update would not resolve the claims of an inaccurate sensor? The solution would therefore not fix Auto mode which is a core feature. is that correct?

I'd be curious to see how the 2s performs in similar testing with the upgraded laser sensor.

        • Sensor is a different issue. The auto mode goes into a very low fan speed and doesn't suck up much air. Now that it's fixed it can push more air through the filter.

Xiaomi moved to an accurate laser sensor in the Max. You could use the Xiaomi PM2.5 sensor for readings and to control the purifier.

  • Would love for shipping to come down on this, again…
