Papermate Dryline i-Mini Correction Tape 3 Pack $2 (Was $7) @ Kmart

490

Sometimes things work out and you write your equations/shopping list/to-do list correctly.

At other times, you make a mistake. We all make mistakes. For those times that you make mistakes, there's a product to the rescue. I introduce to you, the Paper Mate DryLine i-Mini Correction Tape, which comes in a convenient 3 pack collection, for the bargain price of $2 at Kmart.

I use these extensively, when my sums just don't compute, my derivatives lose their smoothness, or my integrals aren't analytic.

  • Ultra mini size

  • Plastic backed tape to resist breakage ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Film goes on dry, allowing for instant correction with no mess

  • User friendly for both right and left handers

Price Comparison

$7.00 at Big W
$3.75 at Coles
$4.50 at Officeworks

This price was found at the Kmart store in Cranbourne (Cranbourne Park, VIC). Possibly nationwide (To be confirmed Confirmed).

Thank you doweyy. Appreciate the confirmation mate.

All good, just noticed I have an association on even though I don’t work there anymore lol.

        • +1

Haha, I'm guessing you knew it was nationwide due to the colour/type of the tag?

        • +1

          @MathNerd:

Yep, yellow tag means nationwide clearance :)

        • @doweyy: Great to know for future reference. Thanks again!

          @MathNerd:

No worries at all, everything is nationwide unless it has a price sticker on the product or the store specially advertises it for cheaper with a sign or something.

    I drink liquid tape

Reported to the mods for invalid upvote.
This is DryLine correction tape, not LiquidLine correction tape.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours to seek out the finest, smoothest liquid tape in existence.

Who'd have thought a post about wite-out can be so fun to read!

    • Genocide of whites is also fun I guess… Let the whiteout begin!

      • I'm sure we'll soon be seeing reports on ACA about Papermate gangs terrorising white neighbourhoods.

        • Good Ol' Tracy Grimshaw piping on again..

  • I can see why this model is on clearance. An inferior product compared to the Dryline Grip Model which is my go to for correction tape.

you must make a lot of mistakes

      • Kind of ironic, made lots of mistakes except for the thing to patch all the mistakes.

      • I’m usually correcting other people’s mistakes lol

    $7.00(bigw.com.au) at Big W
    $3.75(shop.coles.com.au) at Coles

    Also $4.50 @ OW

But save your money and get the Keji Correction Tape 5mm x 8m 2 Pack $0.97 @ OW

    Cheaper and better value.

    • But this is a better brand.

When I last used correction tape 15 years ago the cheaper brands would break easily.

      • Known brand doesn't necessarily mean it's better. And according to mhs m0nk3y they're not that great.

I've used the Keji ones a lot and they're fine. They do the job they're supposed to. Not any better or worse.

    • Guys, do not get the keji correction tape.
It is a terrible product and is poorly designed.

      • Get Kmart's OfficeOne brand then for 3c more.

  • I've still got one of these from college days XD Love them.

    To be confirmed

Why did you put a line through it? Should have used your correction tape!

    • If only there was an OzB format command for that ;)

  • Eh, these tape things drive me crazy..
I prefer erasable pens and highlighters.

Or I just cross out things like a pro (only once, to preserve ink :P)

  • quick review on these - i bought some in a hurry @ Coles a few weeks ago - the first in the pack was defective, the 2nd one didnt works properly….and now the 3rd is just sitting in the cubpoard doing nothing.

Couldnt take it anymore, went out and got a proper papermate LIQUID paper pen. works so much better eventhough it was a few dollars more, but saved my sanity.

These are great value and are really good.
I always buy these now as they are the cheapest from Officeworks apart from the keji brand which is absolutely terrible.
I really hope they don't discontinue these alltogether..

    • You can now stock up on these at $2.50 cheaper than Officeworks!

  • +1

I used to buy these all the time. They used to work great and were good value for money. The latest batch has an updated formula or something, and now the tape has a grey colour on the back. It does not stick on to paper well at all anymore and does not glide nicely like it used to. Avoid these, I wouldn't buy them even for $2 as they are frustrating to use and worse quality than the cheaper home brands. (I would've stocked up on heaps of these at this price if they were still being made like they used to be).

Would this help my brother get rid of his child?
