  • Minimum spend appears to be $75.

  • Can you stack referral code and this discount too? I could t find where the promo code went to test it

It does stack. I just ordered a vegie box for 2 plus 2kg of fruit for $5. You can get just the vegie box for free.

Codes can stack, use referral code plus LoveLocal to get $85 off first order!

  • LOL "bare with me". LoveLocal… You get a lot of bang for your buck :)

  • Great deal!

  • My credit card has been charged $55 for my $90-$35code-$50referal order, so the referral hasn't gone through even though it showed on the invoice. Time to make a phone call.

Edit: They said only one discount can be applied to each order and that they had notified the director and their web development team to fix the error. Poor effort.

    • Thats so lame, so they won't honour the original order price? they should atleast only charge you $40 with the referal code.

    • I got charged $55 as well instead of $5, they could have just emailed to say the offer is off or sth. I will call them to cancel my order.

  • I got an order confirmation - they only applied one discount - the $35 one. But no charge off my credit card at all yet. Do they wait until it’s delivered to charge? I feel like I can’t complain if they haven’t even charged me…

    • pretty sure I was charged before delivery arrived

      • Ok thanks, I’ll keep checking my statement then

        • +1

Yeah, I was charged before delivery and complained straight away. My order confirmation showed both discounts, so I guess I could have waited until it was delivered and then complained. I would have been able to argue that both discounts should apply to that one order.

I don't mind having two orders though. $40 for the first, $25 for the second. The recipes in the first were delicious, and those for next week look good too. I doubt I will continue after that. $75 is a little high for 6 meals (although I got 8 out of the first order). I'll cancel after my second order and then get my free introductory box from Hello Fresh.

  • I put through an order with a referral code and was shown the discounted price, but my email confirmation showed full price. I emailed them to query and supplied the referral code, and now they’re asking for the “full name of my friend”. Not a great start!

    • PM me what code you used. Might have been mine since there are only a few in the OzB database.

      • Hmm, not sure if I gave them the one I actually used now. When I go back to the API link it gives me a different code. I'll PM you with the one I emailed them :)

        • Received a reply earlier in the week. Here's the main part of what they wrote:

"The referral discount is for one subscriber to another and unfortunately, I'm unable to apply/validate the referral code without the subscribers full account name. This referral code can be applied in the sign up process by our subscribers we just can't apply this for you. If you would like to order a box I have spoken to my director Chris just now and we would be more than happy to apply a $25 discount for your payment if this is something that would interest you?"
