Saw this for free shipping. Really useful for me since I have quite a bit of high end headphones. This should suit tables with a max thickness of 3.5 cm I think. Remember to recheck if you suspect your table is ultra T H I C C.

Error 404: User found in recycling bin
Error 404 means not found, then you found them in the recycling bin?
i use these for the ear buds that came with my nokia 3310 :/
Not much of a bargain. Same price in many places.
Aren't scmusic part of the ebay 20% off prawns sale so could get them even cheaper…?
Nice idea but don't think they have it listed.
Any cheaper alternatives?
Slightly cheaper but better quality overall https://goo.gl/ynH6fT
@trev likes bargains Lol
Great find! Lol
If you have headphones with foam padding on the headband, something like this will leave a permanent indention. You want something with a wider surface area or made with softer material.
Possibly but remember you absolutely need the cushion where the headphone rests to prevent your headphone headband from getting flattened from prolonged storage. I accidentally created an indentation on my Beyerdynamics and Sennheiser headsets by using a cheaper holder which was just pure metal. Sadness
Multi hook over the door hangers.
Few bucks or so from Reject Shop,Cheap as Chips,Aldi, etc.
Can also put clothing on them :)Banana stand from Daiso. https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1548/24207202551_bf6ff72b51_b.…
Was about to recommend the same.
That's awesome
You got a link for the product?
Daiso banana stand represent!, very popular choice on gaming forums.
I find that stand rather apeelling :)
That banana stand is really good. I might get a few for some of my spare headsets. Plus I suspect you can use it as a mouse bungee as well.
Nice. Just what I was looking for! How much is it? $2.80?
If you have a wooden desk you can screw one of these underneath for $7.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/zenith-135mmm-florentine-bronze-…I'm not sure…. I'm just thinking of accidental "crits" on my kneecap (as I'm pretty absent minded). Or worse, since I slide my chair in while sitting, a metal thingy stabbing right into the coinpurse… ouch.
The stabbing into your coinpurse would serve as a constant reminder that you need to think more and not install things where you sit. Something like this should be installed under your desk so it doesn't extend past the edge and not in any place where your legs will go. So probably near the side of your desk.
I went to eBay after this deal was posted to see what was there.
Plenty of alternatives.
I use this. Works on any surface http://goo.gl/hDBkYf
If you sit close to a wall you could attach a $1 hook and use it.
Got this in the past https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Steel-Headset-Headphone-Earphone…
It's $9.19, however I'm sure that there are identical ones for cheaper
Pretty sturdy and does the job
I 3D printed mine
No RGB no buy
when are RGB tables coming
I just saw the exact same thing in Thingiverse… Weird coincidence!
Thank you sir!
Are they only suitable for high end headphones?
Course not. OP is a fool.
I have expensive headphones but still chuck them on the desk. I also have one of those hooks at the back of my monitor but who can be bothered to stand up and put their headphones there.
I hilariously just use one of these https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftright-100mm-metal-spring-cl…
Clip to side of table, and place the headphones over it lol. Does the job for a tenth of the price. Has not fallen off once in over 6 years of using it
Not at all. It's just if you have quite a few expensive headphones, you will probably be on the lookout for decent headphone stands or holders. I like this one cause of the cushion where it makes contact with the headphone. ALternatively you can purchase a sponge, cut that and stick it to a cheaper holder to make sure your headphone doesn't get an indentation from the metal contact.
What is the problem with the indentation?
Cosmetic damage
Had a look through the alternatives posted but all require screws/adhesives and some don't even stick to the desk unlike the clamp solution posted by OP. This is the cheapest I can find while still being similar to the ones posted.
What happened to just putting your headphones flat on the desk?
First world problems for sure lol
I put mine flat on top of my tower which sits under my desk. Easy.
I seem to have amassed a collection, I store them in a spring water cardboard box in a drawer.
Hooks are still handy to keep them where they can be easily grabbed though.
Warning to anyone buying this who has heavier headphones: the mounting mechanism between the clamp and the swivel part is nothing more than a plastic tab. With time mine has come loose resulting in a few occasions where the the bottom part has bottom part has fallen off (taking the headphones with them…)
I've jammed a few 10c coins behind the plastic tab now which seems to work. Just be mindful before hanging anything heavy and expensive off them (like planars)I attached a bulldog clip to the edge of my desk (using tape as a cushion) and have been holding my headphones there for years. I had all the materials around the house but you could get it all from officeworks for $4.
That's some macguyver level stuff
Photo please.
Here you go - https://ibb.co/dO5UEG
Thanks. Nice one. I think I have a spare large bulldog clip around.
Yeah I use this haha https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftright-100mm-metal-spring-cl…
Wondering if the wife's nipple clamps would be strong enough to hold the headphones ")
I use these for my headphones. 3 for $15

http://headphonescout.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/The-Min…But will they hold high end headphones?!
funnily enough. the picture in the link shows the hooks being used for audio-tehnica headphones.
You can use this to hook your bananas
These work great with my Heinz cans
$10 for something similar on ebay/aliexpress:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Alctron-Steel-Headphone-Holder-H…I bought a $3 coat hanger from Bunnings and screwed it into my desk. Don't by 10x as much for this!
Pics or it didn't happen
It's a legit 'coat hanger' not a clothes hanger haha.
But since you asked… lol
Hey that actually looks pretty nice! I was definitely picturing a dodgy clothes hanger from kmart
I bought some Audio Technica AD700s years ago.
I had a circular bit of wood left over from some use of a hole saw.
Yes I do keep them holes, you never know when they'll come in handy.
Anyway I stuck a bit dowel in it and I have a bespoke headphone holder. Here's another good alternative for those that don't want to screw them in:
https://www.nzxt.com/products/puck-blackBeen using it for around 12 months now and love it. About $29 from Mwave/Scorptec: https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cases/Casemods-&-Upgrade…
I use Logitech G933's and it holds them no problem.
I'd say these are much better, mostly metal with a position adjustable clamp and cheaper.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B012VIWG28Or these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B072JT8XP8?psc=1
I have these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008FW74J0
Cheaper IKEA option we used for our son: IKEA BÄSTIS hook - https://imgur.com/a/Ik0E8
From memory it cost around $3. Cannot find it on the IKEA website AU anymore, here's a link to the Ikea UK product page:
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/small-storage-organisers/…
I saw that there are a few on Ebay and Amazon.
I guess must be in the minority, I just place them on my desk when not in use.
I use a Creative Sound Blaster headphone stand (as I use the SB E5 amp + E-Mu headphones) > https://au.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-headse…
But I've also found my IKEA Not floor-standing lamp (the one with both an upright and a flexible arm with reading lamp) to be a suitable holder as I have both headphones and headsets on my desk.
Both options are circa A$20.
Brainwavz have a better selection and are cheaper with free world wide shipping! https://www.brainwavzaudio.com/collections/storage-solutions
Bought one, thanks. The original deal is now running out of stock and wants to charge $15 for standard shipping.
Raynes also pointed out elsewhere is selling those with free delivery:
https://www.scmusic.com.au/product/audio-technica-headphone-…
1 inch fold back clips, $1.69 for 12.
https://www.megaofficesupplies.com.au/mbg-fold-back-clips-25…
So the real ozbargain tip here is, if you want to find the cheapest way to do something (ie hang headphones) then post a mediocre deal or rrp buy, and then wait for all the comments detailing better, cheaper alternatives. Crowd sourced market research :)
I prefer Barbeque instead of Baked.
These work well with my Xiaomi pistons
