    Thanks. However, be warned upon activation the software could become non responsive for more than 5 minutes before the "Activated" message appeared.

      Geht nicht..it no werk.
      Program freezes for a minute or so after pasting code, then I get an "Activation failed." message.

        lol actually being serious - not everyone is computer literate
        and just because its free doesn't mean everyone has to download it - one should see what the benefits of the software is or if someone has some experience with it

        if i put a post on ozbargain and it was a software that made pictures of poo from photos that was free for a limited time only, do people download it then?

      You are better off to stay away from this software if your not experienced with computers. If you mess around and don't know what you are doing you can delete your whole drive and ruin your pc.

        actually i do know about computers - wanted to see what the ozbargain responses would be but shows how sometimes ozbargain people can't even explain and help out others

    Ok… so based on what I'm seeing the keys are all the same for everyone. So presumably we won't be able to reinstall this later, or move to another machine (after Jan 31 anyway).

    Mine refuses to activate also. I had 12.5 on here before, and was requested to uninstall that first.

    PCTrans activated no problems. I'd never had that software before.

    Is there a possibility it won't activate because I'd activated a promo on 12.5 before? You guys that cannot activate - did you also upgrade or new installations?

    I cannot reactivate the old one I'm sure as the codes only work before certain dates but I can't seem to activate this new one either.

    No more free Partition Master for me or am I jumping the gun?

    Tried just now. MobiMover and PCTrans Activated fine. Never tried Todo Backup as I already own it. Partition Master, the only one I really wanted, failed to Activate.

    Given the site is still giving out the keys, I cant see why they should be used up. That's how you infuriate potential customers and do the opposite of what the promotion is intended to do.

    I would wait a bit and try activating again.

    I just tried Partition Master again. I did have a trial copy already installed, removed and reinstalled a copy downloaded from the link above. The result is Activation Failed

      I tried many times two days ago, it didn't work. But it worked today, I just activated the Partition Master 10 minutes ago. The key from the first comment for the EaseUS Todo Backup Home also worked.

      Again, though, is this a new installation or upgrade from an older version?

      I'm just wondering whether activations are failing if you've had an activated version before.

      I had 12.5 working flawlessly, ran the installer for this one (which first uninstalled 12.5), tried to activate and it fails like many people here.

      I'm wondering whether it will activate for new installations only.

      Due to the uninstall of 12.5 which also had a limited time key, I cannot reinstall the old version so I'm now left with nothing. Not crying about it because free is free and I won't miss something I haven't paid for but if we can tell people not to try this if they have a working older version it might save a few installations.

    With some good news,
    I tried CCleaner to remove old registry and files.
    I then tried the activation process again for Easeus partition, it finally DID activate the product.
