Nup. Akubras don't last if you actually wear them every day. Mine's covered in holes. If you pamper them they last, but at the end of the day they are made of felt.

  some of mine are over 30 years old BUT they don’t get work everyday, just during winter especially if i think it will rain.

    Yeah mines probably 20 years old, but shelved most of its life. 10 months of daily use in rough conditions gave it a lot of natural aircon. Great hats, but expensive if you are doing to use them.
