Just got an email from JBHIFI with the S7 on sale at $588 (down from $799).
I am an iPhone user myself so please let me know if this isnโt as good of a deal as it seems. ๐
Expires 25 JAN.

It was released in March, 2016. Hasn't even been 2 full years yet.
I would not even spend 350 for almost 3 years old phone
/r/quityourbullshit/
3 year old android phone …….
apple seem to hold their value, but we see a lot of android phones under 1/2 price within 12 minths of release.
v20 got down to $366
Zte Axon 7 was $369 then $299.
samsung are just a bit slower to drop prices on models they can still sell, heck the S5 was still being sold last year and att was an old phone.
no dual sim, no deal
Australian Stock = No Dual Sim
dual sim users are a minor market segment in australia as our phone plans give unlimited calls to other carriers and you get plenty of data, asia and us itโs different.
hence project fi from google.
Great phone, had mine for almost two years now and cant see anything worth upgrading to yet.
head, innovation in android phones seems to be incremental not quantum over time.
screen quality when in sunlight is only reason iโd get a new phone , evenrything else is incremental.
This is a good deal, … great phone..
If you want to switch from Apple to Android, its a great phone at a great price.
Has Samsung Australia warranty and supports all 4G bands.
Hardware still good but I fear no more software support soon
It's still slated to get Oreo, although that will be it. It still gets security updates too
But for how long?
Still getting support for S5… may not be as immediate as later models, but still being kept up to date.
They had the exact same deal on boxing day. I'm waiting….patiently….may end up getting the Huawei Mate 9 instead.
If you fancy camera, Samsung will be better
Ok, thanks! Just thought the Leica camera on the Huawei may have been better….ok and I don't like the ugly button on the Samsung ๐
not really…I have S7 now but had Huawei P9 before . Still prefer P9 when it comes to picture quality .
even for low light photography?
Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB $487.20 (Grey Market Stock from Vaya)
$588 is still the best price for Aussie stock though.
for $355 you can get Axon7 SD820 is faster then S7 exynos 8890 - at least in any gaming tasks. The only reason you'd buy a S7 is for the water proofing and better Camera.
Its a good price, I just feel that it should be $499.
I feel it should be $199 ๐
