  Haven't had the 12, but the 15 is real good. Hint of smoke, sweet caramel and vanilla on the tongue.
  
  Would recommend the 15 over the 12, but in this deal i think its another $17 from FirstChoice with PRAWNS. Though like I said, I haven't had the 12 so would also be interested in doing a side by side.

For a cheapy for mixers, Ballantines @ $35*80% = $28 is not too bad. You can also get the Ballantines 1L for the same equivalent 700ml bottle price if you're thirsty.

Also for those who like their whiskey Irish, Jamesons 1L is 56*80% = $44.80. So the cost per equal priced 700ml bottle would be $31.36. That's excellent value.
