Earlybird incentives on offer

After negotiations between the Government, Perth Stadium management and the WA Cricket Association, a range of incentives have been announced to entice fans to arrive at the venue before 3pm, in an effort to help minimise congestion and other issues.

The decision to scrap the cap is expected to cause commuter delays. (ABC News: James Carmody)

These include $10 free food and beverage vouchers for the first 15,000 fans arriving before 3pm, prize packs and a post-game light show to encourage fans to stay longer — thereby reducing pressure on the public transport network.
