    Technically UHD is the more appropriate term to 4K, as 4K refers to cinema standards and UHD refers to TV (16:9) standards. But I think they've just caved and included UHD in the 4K resolution standards because TV manufacturers keep using the term.

      I didn't neg (in fact I gave a +); thanks for pointing out the distinction! I suppose most people looking to buy TVs would be more familiar with the term "4K" though? And it gives you a sense for how much more "ultra" the picture quality will be over the regular "high" definition 720p and 1080p screens.

      Or you could just memorise this handy chart :P
