  One thing to consider is that the DJI osmo mobile 2 is about to come out and it is coming with a huge price drop - retailing for 129 USD so guessing it will be around $199 AUD in the apple store here.

    You have to realise DJI Osmo mobile 2 is designed for smartphones while this G5 is designed for GoPro action cam.

  I bought one of these. They're decent, but the GoPro 5 sucks in them. The mic will be up against the edge of the gimbal so all you're going to hear is motor noise.
