Hi, was looking at buying the Acer Predator XB271HU and noticed that Futu Online store on ebay is giving 10% extra off the 5% already with PICK5.Not the cheapest yes, but could be handy to those wanting something now rather than wait for next 20%.

  I read a comment a week or so back saying the next tech sale will be on the 16th of this month (don't quote me on that lol). Also the monitor can be bought for ~$850 delivered from kogan or dicksmith last I checked on Staticice (since I'm also looking to buy the same monitor).

    Not sure if my GTX 960 (2gb <— bottleneck me thinks) can output the 1440 though. Only play dota2 for now.

        Not the same monitor, the one in OP's post has IPS panel, the kogan is TN. The equivalent from kogan is $952.73 + delivery.

      1440p + 144hz would be quite demanding (even though dota isnt the most demanding game), according to the internet people are struggling to stable 144 fps at 1440p in dota with a 1060

  Sorry but futu are notorious at price jacking during a sale. They would have increased the price first prior to the discounts.

  The example you gave of the Acer monitor is the same price as in December last year.
