  • Guaranteed, this keyboard will have all the lettering worn off long before the 12-month warranty expires. Retro computer keyboards, still working perfectly after 40+ years, show no sign of fading lettering. Meanwhile, no matter how much you pay, the latest Logitech keyboards are just disposable junk.

I have a Logitech MX Keys (not the S version) and it was starting to have warn keys after 3 years. I looked up when I bought it was surprised for its age. Mainly the A S and C keys. I highly rate the Logitech stuff and have had no issues with it for a number of years. Always been a good brand for keyboards and mice. I wouldn't buy anything else at this stage unless its for a random PC in the house that I don't use every day.

    • You talking about a PS2 keyboard? Wow

    • I agree it's poor form, mine wore as well, but my LT keyboard is still working fine after a number of years. Just have had to buy replacement lettering.

Had one for 7 years and still doing great.

Really handy if you have more than one device to connect to, it can pair upto 3 devices at one time and switch instantly with the keys.

    • We have 4-5 of these in my office that are used every day and have been for around 4 years and not a single one has lost their letters.

Keyboard is decent for a standard office keyboard.

Mouse is good, except for the placement of the mode switching meaning I constantly knock the button and change it then wonder why it isn't working for a second. If the mode switch was on the bottom, it would be much better.

      Used too much hand sanitiser?

    • Yes the A and S on mine have worn after 2+ years of use. Also keys do go shiny. Its the same type of paint that you find on their entry level logitech keyboards.
I put my mine down to longer nails scratching the A&S when I type. Saying its disposable junk is a bit aggressive. I love mine for office use.

    • not my experience - we all have had logitech keyboeards for years in my office and none of them has worn buttons.

Maybe it would be different if the keyboard is used for gaming etc, not sure

  • This is just 10 short of the k860 I'm looking for

  • I've had both good and bad Logitech kb/mouse. Most have been good but a few have worn letters. Used a whiteout pen to write the letters back on.

  • I have been using my keyboard for eight years, and it is still going strong.
I only replaced it because I wanted the Wave keys.
The letters are still intact, even though I have spilled coffee and beer on them numerous times.
However, the mouse has shown a bit more wear and tear,
The old prices were great got it for under $80 before inflation.

  • Looks like everyone here has had their own ride with Logitech keyboards. But I'm still holding firm on my original Logitech keyboard stance. It's interesting that a workplace hasn't had any key issues after many years—honestly, that would make me question the employees' work ethic… or output. Just kidding… probably. ;/

I have been using this for last 3 years, bought during Covid.
works seamlessly, easily switch between 3 devices including the mouse. I use it for 2 Laptops and Samsung phone when on Dex mode.
all parts in tact, no fading of letters or any quality issues
wish this had a backlit keys.
Battery life is good too, I switch it every year to avoid battery drain issues when you are midst of something critical.
Its not a slim version and needs space on desk if thats a considertation.
