LOL "Material: Outer 70% Polyester, 30% Viscose, Lining 100% Polyester"

You may as well wear a garbage bag, it'll feel the same and probably look similar too :)

Cheap does not equal bargain. This is cheap crap sold at the right price for cheap crap. A bargain is good stuff at a significant discount.

    • +16

Might be good for a court date.

    • -2

Have you purchased any of their clothing to make a judgement? It's actually pretty good for the price despite the material.

      • +5

You don't need to buy their clothing, you wouldn't wear a 100% polyester business shirt (unless you're a used car salesman called Vic) because they're crap. Same thing here.

It is NOT good. The material is 80% of a suit's quality.

Save your $100, save some more and find a $400 wool suit on sale for half price.

        • +4

          Correct
Tarocash was popular back in early 2000 and these days it's mostly Trash

        • @klownvandamn:

Was the quality good back then?

        • +1

what has garbage bags ever done to you

          Cut the trash talk

        • @montorola: Back in early 2000 - yes but then again we didn't have many choices for men clothing.

        • +1

don't know who downvoted you on this, saving your $100 for a $400 wool suit on sale is excellent advice.

      • Found the Tarobogan…you probably support the Pies too.

    • Whats a good mix

Can you give us an example of a "good" suit Sir?

I know 100% wool suits are good but I've read that some polyester material is good to keep the suit in shape?

      • +2

It has to be 100% wool to start with. Part of the jacket lining is sometimes synthetic for the cut reason.
But a Polyester-viscose jacket? It'll be shiny, hang like crap, and when it's over 20 degrees you'll sweat like a pig.

Good suits are easily available. They needn't break the bank - I got a $900 tux for $400 on sale at one store recently - that was a bargain.

        • +4

Not sure who negged you..this suit is trash..pls dont buy it to wear in an office..

        • -3

I have a poly suit that's not shiny and hangs well. The only thing you're right about is that I sweat like a pig - that is to say, not at all. (pigs don't sweat, humans are amongst the heaviest sweaters - perhaps do a fact check)

  • +6

What type of cyptocurrency is this??

  • +2

    This better.

    Pure wool:
    Jacket $168 https://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/mens-coats-jackets/van-…
    Trouser $93 https://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/speciality-shop-mens-su…

Match sizes, colour, etc, and you will do so so much better than one of these polyester garbage bags. But hey if you want to show up wearing this $99 suit, good luck staying in the call centre all your life :)

    • That jacket and also the trouser is sold out.

      • 25% further off at checkout.
I can put it in my shopping cart.
Plenty of others if you search their suit section.

        • No you can't because if you try to put it in the shopping cart a notice comes up saying that the item is out of stock. Both the jacket and trouser is now sold out. So no one's going to be getting those right now.

        • +1

Maybe you just suck at internet.

It's pretty easy to add to your cart and buy. See screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/W3W5s

It lives up to that tarotrash quality, so for those reasons I'm out.

    • looks like their buyer is buying clothes from AliExpress

And if you insist on wearing a plastic, here's a cheaper shiny deal under $60

    • +1

Are you telling me if I buy this suit I'll be on fire?

      BOUGHT 5 THANKS OP.

    • -2

If you are young/financially strapped and you can't afford a well made modern looking suit but you need a suit for an interview, then this is the kind of deal you want, especially if the job itself does not require you to wear a suit on a daily basis. For a lot of jobs, interviewers are more interesting if you went to the the effort of suiting up, not the quality of the suit itself.

      • -1

Imo if you were strapped for cash even more reason to not buy a cheap suit it would be better to save up a little bit extra and actually buy a suit for the long term, the price difference for a cheap/crap suit compared to one which is decent isnt that big. You can get a pretty decent suit for an extra 100-200$ and you'll get something you'll actually use.

Also if you're a graduate you're practically guaranteed to have an assessment center of some sort and wearing a cheap unbreathable suit for the entire time is just setting yourself to fail…

        • -2

If you think that people are going to be offended by a $99 suit, but impressed by a $199 suit, you are probably the market that the $99 suit is designed for.

        • -1

@Cubist: No one is going to be offended by a cheap suit? Not sure if you can read but ill break it down further since you dont seem to understand my comment. A 99$ 100% polyester suit is literally 99$ flushed down the toilet, it doesnt breath, it gets hot quick…etc. Might as well spend the extra hundred to get something decent.

My last point is that practically all graduates have an assessment center (i.e. the most people looking for a cheap suit would be) It's a day where you do activities, group work, tours…etc. Do you really want to wear hot stuffy suit that doesnt breath for an entire day?

        • -1

@alteyez: Not sure if you can read, but I didn't target my comment towards graduates attending an all day assessment center. Why would you latch onto a scenario I didn't mention and use it as a way to try to invalidate my viewpoint?

As I said (repeating seeing as though you don't seem to understand my comment), the extra hundred will not buy you a decent suit. an extra $100 will buy you a $199 suit. This season's $199 trouser/jacket combination is next seasons $99 suit.

      • +1

If this is the case you are far far better off borrowing or renting a suit for the interview for the same money, there are lots of men's suit hire shops around the place.

  • It's $99 where else can you get a suit for that much. I'm sure it will appeal to some people.

    • Buying a piece of crap because it's cheap doesn't change the fact that it's a piece of crap.

      Cheap =/= bargain.
