Anybody can sell… will they keep your solar system running and your electricity bills down?

e-Solar supplies only tier 1 solar panels and inverters from reputable manufacturers with proven record.

A Solar System is like a roof on your house… Once installed you're kind of stuck with it.

It takes 8 hours to install it properly by experienced professionals and much less for a shoddy hurried job with roof leaks when the rains come.

Might not always be the cheapest initially, but decisively in the long run. According to ASIC statistics, more than 500 solar companies have closed down since 2011 leaving many clients stranded and the industry reputation in tatters.

e-Solar has been involved exclusively in Solar and Renewable Energy for over 30 years.

    Really, that's how much effort you put into the title? Like you haven't posted before

  • is it Perth only?

  • +1

    hi, Just wondering. If I install your panel on my investment house
    If I gonna sale the house in the future,
    how much will cost to relocation your solar.?

    • +3

      too much

    • It is not cost effective to relocate solar. The labor component to install a 5kW solar system is around $1700+.

      Removal, transportation and then re-installation would be around the same price or only slightly less then a whole new system. Also leaving it on the house will entice potential buyers…

      • Plus buying a new system gets "you" 2 lots of STCs.

  • -2

    Why would someone install 5.6kW panels when the inverters are only 5kW?

    • +3

      you wont hit 5.6kW for more than 2-3 hrs a day, not worth the upgrade to a 6-7kW inverter for such a low loss

    • +1

      With 6.5kwh panels

      $panel = 6.5;

      @solar_power = (0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 0.7, 0.5, 0.3 ,0.1);
      $inverter = 5;
      $sum = 0;
      for $solar_power (@solar_power) {
      $kwh = $panel * $solar_power;
      if($kwh > $inverter) {
      # if generated kwh is greater than inverter
      $kwh = $inverter;
      }
      print "$kwh kwh generated\n";
      $sum += $kwh;
      }

      print "Total generated=$sum\n";

      Output

      0.65 kwh generated
      1.95 kwh generated
      3.25 kwh generated
      4.55 kwh generated
      5 kwh generated
      4.55 kwh generated
      3.25 kwh generated
      1.95 kwh generated
      0.65 kwh generated
      Total generated=25.8

      With 5kwh panels

      $panel = 5;

      @solar_power = (0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 0.7, 0.5, 0.3 ,0.1);
      $inverter = 5;
      $sum = 0;
      for $solar_power (@solar_power) {
      $kwh = $panel * $solar_power;
      if($kwh > $inverter) {
      # if generated kwh is greater than inverter
      $kwh = $inverter;
      }
      print "$kwh kwh generated\n";
      $sum += $kwh;
      }

      print "Total generated=$sum\n";

      Output

      0.5 kwh generated
      1.5 kwh generated
      2.5 kwh generated
      3.5 kwh generated
      4.5 kwh generated
      3.5 kwh generated
      2.5 kwh generated
      1.5 kwh generated

      • WTF??

        • +1

          tg??

      • Thanks for that TG…In short 5 KW of solar panels with a 5 KW inverter will produce 20.5 units a day but 6.5 KW solar panels instead would produce 25.8 Units a day. about 5 units extra which might come handy in winter when the sun is low

      • This is hilarious way to describe the true difference :D … LOL i am impressed.

        • hilarious? I felt offended :P

          You meant professional way to describe the true difference?

        • @tg:
          No Hilarious in a positive way :)

  • open to suggestions…what should we put according to you instead?

  • Yes it is Perth metro but we can do country adding mileage on top of that price

  • sounds gr8
    chuck one up my roof

  • keep gear

  • +4

    If instead we put only 5 KW of Solar panels with a 5 KW inverter most houses would not hit 5 KW at all. It is a common practice to put more panels than the nominal inverter rating so that you hit peak inverter output longer during the day. Not to mention the advantage during cloudy days and winter

    • This comment comes up every time you post an offer. Perhaps you should include this in your description from now on?

      • +1

        You make a lot of sense …..just need to find a way to put it without writing a very long explanation. If worded wrongly can confuse people even more…

  • Hi Taco…not worth moving the solar system. It would actually add value to your house. By the time you move there will probably be better offer in the market to suit your new house

    • buying property and live there to save tax.
      property will knock down in the future to build apartment. not gonna add any value if gonna push down every thing.
      just want to know how much for relocation.

  • Hi Payless69. If interested in a quote please send an email to [email protected] with your house details and we can take it from there

  • How much extra for a 2 story roof?

    What safety equipment do you use for a 2 story roof? If you use a static line, how much to leave the static line installed for me permanently?

    • Our installers charge $250 for the second storey which we pass on as is. About the safety equipment we would let you liaise directly with the installer

    • Hmmm I'm curious, any reason for having a static line for solar? To eliminate flicking in electronic devices?

      • +1

        Static line = a harness point.

      • For cleaning gutters, inspecting and cleaning solar panels and solar pool heating tube =)

  • Paid $4950 for 3.7kw back in 2012. Should have waited!

    • You've probably saved more than $1060 off your electricity bills in those 5-6 years though!

  • Does this come with wireless monitoring?

    • +1

      Yes it does….it's kind of a standard feature in quality inverters these days.

  • Hi E-Solar,

    How much extra for 6.5kw of panels? They seemed to be the norm with deals last year.

    Thanks,
    Rick

    • +1

      It depends on the deal we have running. We had 295 Watts Trina panels at a good price then, unfortunately price is gone way up. We can still offer 6.5 KW with Trina if you like but there is quite a price difference. All in all for 300 Watts this offer is the best value for money

  • +1

    Hi E-Solar,

    How much for Jinko Panels and Fronius inverter?

    Thanks,
    Selphie

    • The same offer with Fronius would be $900 extra. Jinko we can get but they are usually 265 or 270 Watts. We rather go for the most powerful panels and the latest production.

  • Is credit card payment acceptable? Any additional charges?

    • Yes we do of course. There is a 1% extra for credit card payments.

  • 5kw is quite a lot, I assume Perthians have air con on all day then

    • If you consider the prices of solar systems these days, for few hundred dollars difference you can get bigger systems which will reduce your bill further. We have an advert today on the West Australian 4.5 KW $3490 and this offer 5.6 KW $3890. For a capital long term expense on the house the bigger system is money better spent

      • Parents got solar a while back standard 1.5kw, I've read their system, they export half of it back to the grid. Stay at home mum

        *not a Perthian.

        But yeah long term, I'd probably want a 5kw.. with a battery in mind later on

        • +1

          If you have properly sized solar system you will realise quite quickly that the whole hype about batteries is just that. Why would anyone spend another $7000 on batteries when their bill with a good solar system is reduced to about $70-100?

        • @E-Solar:

          understand, later on in terms of when its cheaper

          Just like solar panels… so much cheaper now, you're advertising 5kw as a good price point.

        • @Baghern: 5.6 KW

  • Is this for single phase?

    • Yes. It say on the description. I wonder how much extra for three phase house.

      • They should really specify up front given so many houses are 3 phase, but it would be about a few hundred.

    • Yes Single Phase. For a 3 phase inverter there is an additional cost of $650
