Under the heat of the summer sun Linkin Park will reign over Australia.

The tour follows the September release of Linkin Park's fourth studio album ‘A Thousand Suns' on Machine Shop Recordings / Warner Music. Following on from their 2007 #1 album ‘Minutes to Midnight', the album is co-produced by Rick Rubin and Mike Shinoda, and features 15-tracks, including lead single ‘The Catalyst', currently tearing up Australian radio.
Linkin Park's live performances are designed to be a transformative multi-media experience, with a unique blending of music, art and extraordinary visual technology.

Fans can expect a set list offering an awesome mix of past tracks and huge hits, as well some highly-anticipated new material.
Lauded as one of the most dynamic and energetic live acts around, Linkin Park raised arena roofs and earned rave reviews during their hugely successful October 2007 national tour (despite Chester Bennington sustaining a broken wrist during an incredible Melbourne performance!).

Don't miss this fantastic offer - 40% off tickets to one of the best rock gigs you'll ever see!

  • Are you kidding me? You're forced to sign up for a newsletter just to look at the deal?

    • Hi Mech4bg - thanks for the feedback. Because we only get a very limited number of discount offers for each event, Lasttix offers are only available to Lasttix newsletter subscribers.

      • +2

That doesn't make any sense. It's done to get people's contact details and be able to send them newsletters later.

I think you might be shooting yourself in the foot though, it just turns people off having such obnoxious walls to finding out information you have on offer.

I know nothing about these tickets - they may be 40% off, but are they GA? Decent seating or reduced view? I'm only moderately interested (hence not buying the tickets at 100% cost) and not interested enough to get spammed in order to find out extra details.

Your approach may work for you, and well done if it does, but having to sign up to view basic information annoys most people.

        • And if you require people's email addresses to show any details, why are you happy to post the full details to OzBargain??

        • Hey Mech4bg - thanks again for the feedback.

We tend to post most of the information here on Ozbargain (this post wasn't published by us though) which normally includes enough information to decide whether you're interested in the offer.

Apologies the ticket type was omitted - the tickets for this Linkin Park offer are in fact A RESERVE - so very good quality at 40% off.

The reason we ask people to subscribe is to ensure we inform our customers first before the general public of discount offers. Tickets are normally very limited so we want to make sure our customers find out first.

This also works in favour of our subscribers because the more people we have on our database the better offers we get from the promoters!

I completely understand if you dont agree with our model (it can be annoying having to hand out your email address to newsletter providers) but I hope we can convince you of the value of our service over time!

  • so…what's the prices?

    • Hi Uraha (apologies this page was not posted by Lasttix) the discount price is $79.90 + booking fees.

  • I saw LP live a couple of years ago and they are awesome live! im not 100% keen on their new album, but they'll definately play songs across their entire discography. worth the $80, thanks for the post.

    • appreciate the plug soulspawn!

  • I paid full price to see LP! its a good deal I'll tell my mates. Thanks.

  • Please clarify what 'A Reserve' is - Ticketek website has 'Gold Reserve' and 'Silver Reserve'. I am assuming 'A Reserve' = 'Gold Reserve' but please clarify.

Oh, and tickets are $79.90 each + booking fee ($12.35)

the way i checked, was to select the "a reserve" and on the next page it will show you your seat numbers. i then compared this to the venue map (under venue info) to know which area correspondes to the "a" or "b" reserves.
for perth, all seating is $79.90.

      • Thanks!
