how did their policies compare to TID?
i got TID to europe 40days for $155 covering snow sports injuries and equipment, as well as scooter/moped. i haven't seen other insurers cover these in the normal comprehensive rate.
TIDWARM might work too, 10%.
My policy for Japan (4months) was $24 cheaper than TID. Same excess fee and covers snowboarding. I dont know what what scooter/moped means. I think TID has like a bit more coverage but i only wanted the cheapest with medical.

make sure if they offer it tha you get a new for old policy. I got stung by TID. tried to claim a camera through them and their ridiculous depreciation meant that after the excess i got $60 back. If i factored in the cost of the insurance and the repair claim i had to get I was out of pocket. it was a total waste of time. new for old is the way to go if you really wanna protect your goods.
could you tell me how much the camera was worth at the time new, how old it was? i'm assuming they gave you 160 for the camera after you paid 100 excess?
