Better value would be EA access obviously if you haven't got it yet and not super keen on playing the '18 games.
EA access allows you to download the '17 games to play; and get 10h trials of full games.

NHL 17 added March 28, NHL 16 March 29, NHL 15 April 9
Presumably Madden is added around start of march latest (new one releases late August) and NHL by April (new one releases mid September)
