    Nice coupon :)

    • Waiting for TAIR:)

  • Thanks for the good deal Clear! do you know what link the cheapest filters would be?

    • +2

Had a quick look around and AliExpress seem to be the cheapest, but only a couple $$ more than Gearbest. I'm sure they could price match.

  • +1

Do these do anything really tho?

    • The other deal has plenty of discussion about it. The tl;dr is yes, it does work.

    • +6

I have a couple of these, one is in an apartment where its open plan kitchen lounge and has typically terrible airflow. On auto it spins up whenever I'm cooking anything oily or smokey so it's filtering things I can't see. And when I clean the filter I have to vacuum off dust, so it's filtering things I can see. For the price I think it's fantastic.

We are selling fresh air in China and China is selling air purifier to us. What a irony !!!

  • Wow, never knew these things existed 🤣

  • Great price

  • Thanks OP. Bought one for each room in the house.

  • +5

PJC said the other deal was an unbeatable price. Naturally I had to prove him wrong. 😂😂😂

    • +2

As at yesterday lol. Good price. You're one up, Clear.

  • +1

Keep in mind that this has a cn plug, probably best to buy a Xiaomi outlets too.

    • +5

It has the 3 pin type that'll work with Aus. Can swap it our for an actual AU cable though.

      • +2

Just checked the video review and you're right. Weirdly in the faq it says

i am in Australia. as there is no other option except CN plug, I have chosen 'CN plug'. Are you sending me the version of Australian plug as needed? thx.

        By yoon1164 Nov-23/2017 08:11:58

        A
        Hello yoon1164,
Sorry this item is just CN plug, there is no Australian plug.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.

        • +1

I have one and i'm looking at the Aust 3-prong plug right now. And Clear's photo couldn't be clearer. those Q&As aren't always helpful

        • +5

Those pesky customer service reps. Technically correct as Chinese 3 pins are thinner, upside down and lack insulation.

  • +1

Grabbed one, thanks op. Hoping it helps out 5 month old with the hayfever she has been having lately

Upsetting.. I just bought earlier today for $170

    • Same here. Damn

      • When paying with PayPal (which i assume some will do like me) it came to $165 so it's not that bad after all

  • Just bought bankwest platinum $160.73aud after convert

    • Good rate. AU$166.33 at PayPal's conversion rate.

  • When I put the coupon in it says "coupon is not for this item" and raises the price to $154 though it recognizes the coupon as fixed price $105 coupon.
I guess I'm not the target of this promotion :(

  • Seriously why does anyone need this here in Oz?

    • +2

Australia is very very dusty, loads of pollen etc - the need for these is AU is huge

  • @serin Allergies ?

  • Thanks OP. Got one with GB exchange rate $165.76 (not sure how to change to USD and dont wanna miss out).

Anyone know how long does it take before the filter needs to be replaced? Seems like the filter itself arent exactly cheap tho :(

    • +1

Xiaomi recommend every 6 months in China. For Australia I'd expect it to last much much longer. An occasional vacuum to clean out the dust will make it last longer.

    • +2

At least a year, even then your app will tell you what the air quality is. So vacuum and wipe it out every now and then and it will probably last longer.

  • +1

Nice one. Now got one for the bedroom too.

  • code doesnt seem to work

At cart it works, but as soon as I goto checkout it jumps back to 119USD

    The coupon section states
    FIXED PRICE Coupon: $105.25 (USD)

But the subtotal states $154 (AUD)… and this is whats on the checkout section, this is before the $19 postage

    • it will automatically default to the more expensive postage.. just make sure you have chose then right one..AU Express $19.31 US

  • -1

Looks like I just missed :( . If GB does another one I'm on board.

    • Still 46 pieces left.

      • -1

I'm getting the error message "sorry flash sale is over" and "the code you entered is expired"

      • That corresponds to their own flash sale and not my coupon.

        • Oh I think I know why, I had an unpaid order in my account (I cancelled at paypal), hence the coupon's already been redeemed once on my account. My bad.

@Clear are these definitely v2? The title says "original" it makes me think it's v1.
Edit: just found the answer in the FAQ. v2. Thanks op!

        • +1

@LymeLychee: Original means genuine. Definitely number 2 as the 1st gen is much taller

        • @Clear: Thanks op, makes sense. Just making sure the page didn't have gen 2 images on the gen 1 product. Much appreciated and thanks mate for getting the deal with GB :)

  • still haven't taken the plunge, but the code seems to still work. when u goto checkout and pay still says $124.56 US

    • It seems to be the default price until you put in the code. No free express shipping for $124.56 US tho

  • +1

it doesnt seem to work with the code provided? am i missing something here?

    here's the screenshot - https://i.imgur.com/gQ3DAMS.png

    • Same issue here - "The Code you entered has expired" and the price goes up until you cancel the code.

  • Getting an error that code is expired.

  • code expired with 46 pieces left… totally up for one though…

  • Hey OP (or any other negotaitors) would love a deal on some Yeelight stuff that would integrate with the Google Home devices

I got a couple of Candelas through Kickstarter and they're cool but bluetooth only :(

  • Wouldn’t have minded one of these but code expired.
Hopefully another deal comes along as my hay fever is pretty bad atm.

  • Other deal is still available for those that missed out on this one

  • Damnit!!!!

  • +2

Asked Gearbest for an extension. Will post if it happens.

  • ARGHHH! Been eyeing this at pre-special price all day and go out for one hour and miss out. Phooey! >:(

  • I bought a Mi AP 2.. Because the design and auto on/off is pretty nifty…. I take air quality serious and have a number of air purifiers.. I tested this model using a $500 Dylos monitor which I bought from Amazon US, the results were really subpar. After leaving it on for an hour, it reduced dust to 50% of what was there before. Compare this to a Blueair which reduced about 95% of dust/PM2 particles. Overall I'd give it 2/5 for air purification and 5/5 for looks.

    • And how much did the Blueair cost? Just looking at the prices it seems you may be doing the compare $200 phone with $800 phone.

      • Compared it against the Blueair 203 which is about RRP $529 and can be had for 10-15% off during ebay sitewide deals for $476 or less if it's 15% off. Don't bother getting the digital control version of that because the only extra thing you get is a sensor which tells you how dirty the air is, which most of the time doesn't work very well. Plus the manual knob version works great on a digital timer (I have it turn on 1-2hrs before I get home and before I leave automatically).

      • This guy gives you a good demo of the Dylos. Really good for those wanting to get "TRUE" clean air. The Dylos monitor really lets you understand how dirty the air is around you… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_1a0nQekMo

        here's some cool tests.

Second hand cigarette smoke particle counter test

        Wildfire smoke vs indoor test.
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhy9qkD5Adg

and FYI, I get under 50-100 | 5 with Dylos monitor with the blueair 203 in an average size room. With the Xi my air quality was always around 300-400 | 50.

  • I'd be rapt with 50% less dust, frankly. The building site next door is killing me.

  • Does ems express = priority shipping ??

Not sure if i put through the deal with correct option.

  • Dammit I missed this

  • Those who missed this - my post is still active for $10 dollars more from Tomtop eBay. They also ship fast. Earn cashback and possibly Flybuys points if you have it linked.
