    It's really not a GPU that should be paired with a VR headset as it doesn't have the power to give a decent VR experience.

    My 1060 can't really cut the mustard with the beefier VR titles, especially Fallout 4 VR. If Volta wasn't rumored for a release before the end of Feb 2018, then I'd be getting the 1070ti deal that was recently posted.

    But as the OP said, if you can sell the headset for a decent price then this laptop deal is actually pretty good. It's just a weird pairing of the two.

  I just bought the predator for $1796. They didn't have acer Mixed Reality headset in stock so I was offered eith HP Mixed (same specs) or wait for a week.

  I am now trying to sell Acer Mixed VR as I already have occulus rift.
